I was honestly worried about being right on the square, especially during summer when the outdoor terraces get going, but the windows do their job. You can still hear the city humming below, which I actually liked, but it’s not keeping you awake at 2 AM. The staff seems to get that people staying here aren’t just passing through for one night; they’re setting up a little temporary life in Prague, so they’re helpful with things like where to find a proper grocery store (there’s a Tesco about five minutes toward the Museum), or which tram will actually get you to the castle without the tourist markup. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too – no hovering or upselling, just “here’s your key, here’s how everything works, let us know if you need anything.” That 8.5 rating makes sense once you’ve been there a few days; it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in Prague, but it absolutely nails what it’s supposed to be. Perfect for when you want to feel like you’re living in the city center without paying Old Town prices or dealing with the chaos of staying right in the thick of tourist central.
