You know what caught me off guard about this place? The name says “duplex on Wenceslas Square” and you might think you’re signing up for tourist chaos, but honestly – it’s tucked away on Ve Smečkách, which means you get all the benefits of being right in the heart of Prague without the constant stream of people taking selfies outside your window. I mean, Wenceslas Square is literally a two-minute walk, but this little side street has this surprisingly peaceful vibe, especially once you step out onto that terrace they mention.

The duplex setup actually works really well if you’re traveling with friends or family. There’s something about having that vertical space that makes even a city center apartment feel less cramped – you’re not all on top of each other like in typical hotel rooms. The terrace is where this place really shines though. I’ve stayed in plenty of Prague apartments, and finding outdoor space that’s actually quiet (not overlooking some construction site or busy tram line) is trickier than you’d expect. From up there, you get these glimpses of the city’s red rooftops without the street noise, which is perfect for morning coffee or – let’s be honest – recovering from a night exploring Prague’s beer scene.

What I really appreciated was how the location lets you skip the whole “how do we get to the good stuff” conversation. Národní třída is right there if you want to walk to the river, the main shopping areas are steps away, and you’re close enough to the Old Town that you can easily wander over but far enough that you’re not paying Old Town prices for every meal. The building itself feels properly Czech – none of that overly renovated, sterile vibe you get in some of the international chain hotels. Check-in was straightforward, and the 9.4 rating makes sense when you actually experience the place. It’s one of those spots where the details just work – good water pressure, decent Wi-Fi, windows that actually open (huge plus in Prague), and enough space to spread out your stuff without living out of a suitcase. If you’re the type who wants to feel like you’re staying in Prague rather than just visiting it, this kind of setup beats a standard hotel room every time.

Visitors often choose Prague apartments over traditional hotels because they provide more space, kitchen facilities, and the opportunity to live like a local in this magnificent Bohemian capital.

  we had an enjoyable time in the house and in the city.it is in the centre of the city, close to bus and metro station, 5 minutes walking.The owner Tomas is a perfect host with his smiling face and helpful attitude.You can feel yourself safe.

  The apartment is very nice decorated, the design is very beautiful, very colorful, very lively and has all the amenities
  It's very close to the city center, only 10min walking distance. The host, thomas, was very friendly, and give us a lot of useful information, like nearest supermarket, best place to eat or drink, etc… To conclude, it is definitely a good choice this apartment. it made our trip more exciting.   Firstly the Apartment is in an excellent location for exploring the city. Very central yet quiet at the same time.
  It comfortably slept 4 adults and 2 young kids. It had everything needed for a great stay in Prague.
  The host ,Thomas was brilliant, we contacted him with a couple of questions and he answered quickly and with great information, even offered us some locals knowledge on where to shop, eat and visit.
  We would definitely stay here again if we come back to Prague.
  (The shower could do with an upgrade though)

  1) Only one bathroom for 6 people is short
  2) Only one set of keys for 6 people is short
  3) A lot of light in the rooms which is great but would be great to have some curtines
