The apartment setup means you get that residential feel even though you’re staying in one of Europe’s most visited neighborhoods. Plus, couples seem to absolutely love this place, which makes sense when you’re wandering these romantic streets at night.

The apartments are well, actually apartments — not just hotel rooms with a mini-fridge thrown in. Each unit has a proper kitchen setup, which turned out to be way more useful than I expected. Being able to grab fresh bread and local cheese from the morning markets and actually prepare something decent saved both money and time. The room layouts feel thoughtful rather than cramped, and the windows — at least in the unit I stayed in — looked out onto the street life below, which was endlessly entertaining.

What you don’t realize until you’re staying here is how the neighborhood shifts throughout the day. Mornings are quiet and local, afternoons bring the tourist energy, and evenings settle into this lovely mix of people heading to dinner or drinks. There’s a restaurant practically every few doors down, ranging from traditional Czech spots to more international options. The Palladium shopping center is close enough if you need anything practical, but far enough that it doesn’t dominate the area’s character.
