Hotel Description
You know what struck me first about this place? The balcony actually delivers – I mean, when you’re booking apartments online, half the time “balcony” means some tiny ledge where you can barely fit a coffee cup. But stepping out here in the morning with my coffee, watching Dlouhá Street wake up below… it’s one of those moments that makes you remember why you love traveling.
The apartment itself is honestly what I’d call “pleasantly no-nonsense” – it’s got that 3-star sweet spot where everything works without trying to impress you with unnecessary fancy touches. The kitchen’s small but functional (I managed to make breakfast every morning, though I wouldn’t attempt a dinner party), and the bathroom has decent water pressure, which – let’s be real – matters more than marble countertops when you’re actually living somewhere. What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night, even though you’re right in the thick of things. Dlouhá can get pretty lively, especially on weekends, but once you close the windows, it’s surprisingly peaceful. The building’s older, so you get those thick walls that actually muffle sound instead of the paper-thin modern stuff.
Here’s the thing about staying on Dlouhá – you’re basically in the perfect spot without paying Old Town Square prices. I could walk to Wenceslas Square in about ten minutes, but more importantly, I was right near all these little streets that tourists usually miss. There’s this tiny bakery two blocks down toward the river that locals line up at every morning (seriously, follow the Czech grandmothers – they know), and you’re close enough to the Jewish Quarter that you can pop over whenever you want without it being this whole expedition. The tram connections are solid too – I used the one at Náměstí Republiky constantly, and it’s maybe a five-minute walk. Parking’s a nightmare, but honestly, that’s Prague for you, and you really don’t need a car anyway. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward – none of that modern hotel theater where they act like handing you a key card is some kind of hospitality performance. Just practical people being practical, which I actually found kind of charming after dealing with overly enthusiastic hotel staff elsewhere.

The location in the old town is exceptional the flat is very spacious and clean
What could be improved: Unfortunately, the kitchen equipment leaves a lot to be desired. No teapot or similar, no salad bowl, no sharp knives, unfortunately a lot is missing.
Plates, cups and cutlery were sufficient.Very good – Sylwia from United Kingdom – 14 November 2023 (8/10)
Overall clean, nice, comfortable place located very short walk from old town.

Appartment is stylish, location is really good. Also it has everything you need.
What could be improved: Dishes was dirtyNice apartment, shame about the broken door and manager – Natasha from United Kingdom – 5 December 2024 (6/10)
The apartment is spacious, clean and a really good location.
What could be improved: Unfortunately I have to be honest about my experience. We paid a reasonable amount of money for Christmas market weekend and felt let down. The door to the balcony was broken and we were unable to close it, meaning the room was freezing cold on our first night due to temperatures outside. When we flagged this to the manager, neither did he get anyone out to fix the door nor accepted there was anything wrong with the door on inspection of the apartment (despite having many photos and videos). He also claimed we had broken a glass and the sink (which were already broken when we arrived).
We managed to stuff the door to stop the cold air with cloths and paper, but definitely affected our stay.
