Dlouhá Apartment with balcony Overview
First Impressions
When I first spotted Dlouhá Apartment with balcony tucked into a historic building on Dlouhá street, I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect from an apartment stay in Prague. But you know what? Sometimes the best discoveries happen when you step away from traditional hotels. This four-star property sits right in the heart of Old Town — and I mean literally in the thick of everything that makes Prague magical. The moment I walked through the door, I felt the charm of this place.
Location That Actually Matters
Look, I’ve stayed in plenty of places that claim to be “centrally located,” but this spot genuinely delivers. You’re a two-minute walk from the Powder Tower and maybe five minutes from the astronomical clock (though honestly, you’ll probably get distracted by all the charming side streets along the way). The location score of 9.5 isn’t just marketing fluff — I could roll out of bed and be sipping coffee at a sidewalk café before most tourists even figured out their metro cards. Plus, there’s parking on-site, which is basically like finding gold in this part of the city. The neighborhood truly offers everything you need.
The Space Itself
The room feels more like staying at a well-traveled friend’s place than a typical hotel setup. What really sold me was that little balcony — it’s not huge, but it’s perfect for morning coffee while watching Prague wake up below. The space has this lived-in comfort that makes you want to actually unpack instead of living out of your suitcase. I mean, couples clearly love it here (the feedback doesn’t lie), and I can see why — there’s something intimate about having your own little Prague pied-à-terre. Every corner invites you to settle in and enjoy.
The Practical Stuff
Here’s where this place really shines — the hosts actually respond quickly when you need something. I had a question about late check-in, and boom, got an answer within the hour. It’s those small touches that make a difference when you’re navigating a new city. The building itself has that old Prague character — thick walls, interesting architectural details — but everything inside works the way it should. No fussing with temperamental shower handles or trying to figure out mysterious light switches. The kitchen is well-equipped for preparing your own meals.
Why Guests Love It
Honestly, this feels like the kind of place you’d book again without hesitation. It’s got that sweet spot of being right where you want to be without the sterile hotel vibe. You’re close enough to walk everywhere that matters, but when you come back at night, you’re stepping into a quiet residential building rather than a lobby full of tour groups. The balcony becomes your little escape — perfect for that glass of Czech wine while planning tomorrow’s adventures or just watching the evening light hit those gorgeous Prague rooftops. This apartment truly captures the essence of authentic Prague living.

Reviews of Dlouhá Apartment with balcony
Very good – Christoph from Germany – 23 April 2025 (8/10)
The location in the old town is exceptional the flat is very spacious and clean
What could be improved: Unfortunately, the kitchen equipment leaves a lot to be desired. No teapot or similar, no salad bowl, no sharp knives, unfortunately a lot is missing.
Plates, cups and cutlery were sufficient. The place is cute and very cozy! Location is perfect!!!! Don’t hesitate and definitely stay there. We loved it. – Sviatlana from United States – 31 March 2025 (10/10)

Nice apartment, shame about the broken door and manager – Natasha from United Kingdom – 5 December 2024 (6/10)
The apartment is spacious, clean and a really good location.
What could be improved: Unfortunately I have to be honest about my experience. We paid a reasonable amount of money for Christmas market weekend and felt let down. The door to the balcony was broken and we were unable to close it, meaning the room was freezing cold on our first night due to temperatures outside. When we flagged this to the manager, neither did he get anyone out to fix the door nor accepted there was anything wrong with the door on inspection of the apartment (despite having many photos and videos). He also claimed we had broken a glass and the sink (which were already broken when we arrived).
We managed to stuff the door to stop the cold air with cloths and paper, but definitely affected our stay.Exceptional – Pamela from Australia – 3 June 2024 (10/10)

Helpful and was able to arrange keys for easy pick up and handover.
Please note: Keys are at a different location than the apartment. Be sure to note this and discuss the arrangements before hand for easy and less stress 🙂
Location is great.
Ground floor.
Quiet as it is facing to the courtyard.
What could be improved: Make it more clear to potential clients about the key pick up in advance.
