Ječná is this quiet little street that connects to Národní, so you can walk to the river in about ten minutes, or hop on the metro at Národní třída station. Actually, there’s this great little café called Slavia right by the National Theatre that becomes your regular breakfast spot when you’re staying here – the locals go there, not just tourists.

The apartments themselves are surprisingly spacious for Prague standards. I’ve stayed in plenty of places in the city center where you can barely open your suitcase, but here you actually have room to spread out. The kitchenette is functional too – nothing fancy, but perfect for making coffee in the morning or storing leftovers from one of those massive Czech portions. One thing that caught me off guard was how quiet it gets at night, even though you’re right in the city. The windows are really well-insulated, and Ječná doesn’t get much traffic after dark. Check-in was smooth, no waiting around or confused staff, and they actually give you useful local tips instead of just handing you a generic city map. The whole vibe is more like staying at a friend’s well-designed apartment than some sterile hotel room. For the rating this place has – and honestly, a 9 out of 10 feels about right – you’re getting serious value, especially considering where you are in the city.

Travelers should reserve a hotel in Prague at least two months ahead of their visit to ensure availability and secure better rates, especially during the peak summer season when the city hosts numerous cultural festivals and outdoor concerts.
