Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw “Cute Apartment Zborovska” on the booking site, I almost rolled my eyes at the name. But you know what? It actually lives up to it, and I mean that in the best way possible. This little 3-star spot sits right on Zborovská street in Lesser Town, which honestly puts you in one of Prague’s most authentic neighborhoods without the tourist circus you get around Old Town Square.

The thing about this place is that it feels like staying at a friend’s apartment – if your friend happened to have really good taste and actually cared about making guests comfortable. The building itself has that classic Prague charm with the heavy wooden doors and stone steps that echo when you walk up (fair warning if you’re a light sleeper and other guests are coming in late). What really got me was how quiet it stays despite being so central. Zborovská runs parallel to the river, but it’s tucked away enough that you’re not dealing with constant tram noise or drunk tourists stumbling around at 3 AM. I actually slept better here than at some of the fancier hotels I’ve tried in Prague.

The apartment itself – well, it’s thoughtfully put together in a way that shows someone actually considered what travelers need. The kitchen isn’t just for show; you can legitimately cook a meal if you want to save some crowns or just need a break from goulash (though honestly, why would you?). Walking to Kampa Island takes maybe five minutes, and you’re basically around the corner from some of the best traditional pubs in the city – U Fleku is tourist central, but locals will point you toward U Zlatého Tygra instead, which is just a short walk away. The real win here is being able to walk across Petřin Park whenever you want. I mean, having those gardens and the tower as your backyard view? That’s something even the five-star places in Wenceslas Square can’t offer.

The 8.4 rating makes total sense once you’ve stayed here. It’s not trying to be something it’s not – no marble lobbies or concierge service – but everything works, the place is genuinely clean, and you feel like you’re living in Prague rather than just visiting it. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward, and the host actually gave useful recommendations instead of just handing over a generic tourist map. Parking can be tricky around here (it’s Prague, what do you expect?), but there’s usually street parking if you circle the block a few times, and honestly, you won’t need a car much once you’re settled in. The tram connections are solid, and walking everywhere becomes part of the charm. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if I wanted to feel less like a tourist and more like a temporary local.

  The location of the apartment as well as the WiFi speed was good.
  
  What could be improved: If you’re considering this place, I strongly recommend reading this first.
  I really wanted to like this place. The photos looked nice, the price seemed fair, but after my first night, I realized I made a mistake.
  
  1. Not as advertised – The apartment is noticeably different from the pictures. Small details at first, but enough to feel like I wasn’t getting what I paid for
  
  2. Hygiene issues – The sheets didn’t feel fresh, and the sofa seemed… well, used. Bed sheets were torn and there was dust on the floor (€30 was pain in cleaning fees). I ignored it at first, but then—
  
  3. Insect bites – Sitting on the couch, I started itching. After that I had visible bites. I wanted to believe it was a mosquito, but the windows were closed, and it was freezing outside. Later on, I saw an insect on the sofa. That’s when I knew I couldn’t stay
  
  4. Unhelpful host – I asked to leave early and get a refund. The host refused, saying his "boss" was on vacation. Refused to give me any information, and left me with no help
  
  I had to leave earlier than planned, but if I could go back, I would have booked somewhere else. I don’t like leaving negative reviews, but I feel responsible for sharing this so others can make an informed choice.
  
  *Note: upon arrival the host made me pay directly to him, instead of making the payment via booking.com, which means that Service support couldn't help me with anything.
  Shouldn't've agreed to that, always pay on the platform.

  Bonne localisation : à 5 minutes à pied d'une importante station de tram, bus, métro, à 5 minutes à pied de la "Maison Dansante" et à 20 minutes à pied des premiers centres d'intérêt (pont Charles, iles…)
  Appartement conforme à la description, propre et très correctement équipé ; lits confortables
  Echanges avec le loueur par mails sans le rencontrer à aucun moment mais réactif, informations correctes et claires.

  Ideálna lokalita – v pešej dostupnosti mnohé turisticky zaujímavé miesta, mestská doprava len niekoľko desiatok metrov od ubytovania. Supermarket hneď za rohom, cca 5 minút pešo veľké nákupné centrum, aj metro. Apartmán čistý, priestranný, vybavený všetkým potrebným, postele pohodlné. Nemáme čo vytknúť.

  bardzo korzystna lokalizacja dla osób zdecydowanych na piesze zwiedzanie Pragi- możliwość dotarcia do najpopularniejszych miejsc bez używania samochodu i środków transportu publicznego choć te drugie są również łatwo dostępne.
