Cozy studio in the main city center Overview
Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw “Cozy studio in the main city center” listed on Příčná Street, I wasn’t expecting much. The name sounds like every other Airbnb listing you’ve scrolled past, right? But honestly, this little place surprised me in the best way possible.
The thing about Příčná is that it’s tucked just off the main tourist drag, which means you’re literally a three-minute walk from Old Town Square (I timed it), but you’re not dealing with the constant stream of tour groups right outside your window. You know what I mean – you get that perfect sweet spot where you can actually sleep past 7 AM without hearing someone with a megaphone explaining Czech history. The studio itself is… well, it’s definitely cozy, and I mean that in a good way, not in that “we couldn’t fit a proper bed” way. There’s something genuinely warm about the space – maybe it’s the way the afternoon light hits those old windows, or how the radiator makes these oddly comforting little clicks at night. The place has character, which you don’t always get with newer hotels in the area.
What really sold me on this spot was the neighborhood feel of it all. There’s this little bakery around the corner on Železná where locals actually go – not the touristy one everyone posts on Instagram, but the one where the woman behind the counter will nod at you after your second visit. The studio’s building has that classic Prague vibe, you know, with the heavy wooden doors and the slightly creaky stairs that make you feel like you’re in an actual Czech film. Parking can be a bit of a headache if you’re driving (honestly, just don’t drive in Prague), but the metro connections are solid, and you can walk pretty much everywhere you’d want to go. I spent most evenings just wandering through the narrow streets – there’s something about this part of the city that feels more lived-in than the postcard-perfect areas. The studio stays surprisingly quiet for being so central, though you’ll hear some street noise if you keep the windows open, especially on weekends when people are heading to the bars on Dlouhá Street.
The whole experience just felt… authentic, I guess? Like staying at a friend’s place rather than checking into some corporate hotel chain. Sure, it’s not luxury – this is a 3-star spot, and it shows in little ways like the shower pressure and the fact that the WiFi occasionally decides to take a break. But there’s something refreshing about a place that doesn’t try to be something it’s not. The host was genuinely helpful with recommendations too, not just the usual “go see the castle” stuff, but actual insights about when to visit the markets and which tram routes to avoid during rush hour. For the price point and that location, especially if you’re someone who wants to feel connected to the city rather than insulated from it, this studio really delivers. It’s the kind of place you’d book again without hesitation.
Many travelers prefer to book apartments in Prague through local agencies that offer personalized recommendations and insider knowledge about the best neighborhoods for exploring the city’s rich medieval heritage.

Reviews of Cozy studio in the main city center
Good location and well equipped property – Anna from United Kingdom – 14 April 2025 (8/10)
The property itself is lovely. It has everything you need there. I read previous reviews about the noise level and the fact that you could hear other people behind the wall and I totally agree with that. It didn't make much difference to me because I didn't expect it to be a countryside 🙂
What could be improved: I rated the host very high prior to my arrival because they sent me some lovely messages and recommendation. After my arrival I didn't like the fact that the apartment wasn't ready at my check in time. It happens sometimes so not a big deal but when I contacted the host he didn't sound overly helpful or enthusiastic to solve my issue. Waiting for a check in until 16:00 when you arrive early morning seemed like a long day despite the fact there was an option to leave our luggage at the hotel opposite (key collection point) with a small fee. The next day after the check in I received an unnecessary message about the check out time. Why??? I could as well stay there until the last minute of my paid/agreed time.Small and cozy apartament in great location, but the walls are little thin, you could hear neighbors – Toms from Latvia – 19 April 2024 (8/10)
Perfect Location, elevator, receptionists, instructions clear and simple
What could be improved: Thin walls, a litlle bit small but does the jobGreat apartment close to the city! – Kylie from United Kingdom – 29 April 2024 (9/10)
Great location, close to shops, restaurants and the tram. Had all the amenities we needed, very clean and plenty of space. The bed was really comfortable however the pillows were too big and not comfy for myself but my partner loved them! Little noisy at times but overall a great stay 🙂
Great stay in beautiful city! – Maria from Sweden – 17 February 2025 (8/10)
Nice, cozy little flat at good location close to Old Town and central city. Very, very comfortable bed, the left side I slept on ( the other side slates not intact). And duvet cover/pillow case so soft and nice. Greatly appreciated. Kitchen got all you need for cooking, even if I did not need it this time. Varm and nice in the bathroom. Large fridge/freezer. Clean flat, apart from whats written below. Good communication with staff all the way. Key pick-up just across the road. Very convenient to use their transfer through their webpage. I would book this flat again if I return to Prague.
What could be improved: Floors needs a good scrub! My slippers were black on the soles after 1 day. Decoration pillows and sofa cover needs a wash or replacement.
Some small details:
As single I was given bathtowel and handtowel. Would appreciate 2 handtowels, one for face/hair and one for hands. A towel in kitchen, to be able to dry dishes, where greatly missed. No brush for floor, so when I dropped cookie crums on the floor, I hade to use wet household paper to be able to pick it up.Passable – Morten from Denmark – 15 July 2025 (5/10)
Location
What could be improved: No aircondition and a lot of noise from nearby roadExceptional – Patrycja from Poland – 5 May 2025 (10/10)
It was super clean and comfortable moreover the localization od the apartament is super, everything is really close: atractions, restaurants, metro etc. It was really nice stay
it was good – Savic from Serbia – 21 September 2024 (10/10)
there was no breakfast
What could be improved: no smoking in the roomsAmazing! – Rebecca from United Kingdom – 31 May 2024 (10/10)
The property had everything you would need! Very clean and in such a good location. The hosts were so lovely would 100% recommend!
It was pleasant enough. – Robert from United Kingdom – 22 December 2024 (5/10)
The location was exactly what we needed. The room had adequate facilities for cooking and tea making. Key pickup straightforward and easy to find the apartment
What could be improved: Bed terribly uncomfortable. Shower head was hanging off the wall so it had to be held one-handed. No body wash provided which was strange. Felt generally a little run down.Passable – Yasmeen from Singapore – 29 May 2025 (5/10)
Property was located in a good spot with close proximity to bakeries and convenience stores.
What could be improved: Property was not too clean, shower head was faulty and the water temperature was not consistent. The host, cleaner and receptionist had miscommunication and delayed the check-in process.
