You know what caught me off guard about this place? The moment I walked into this loft on Křižíkova, I actually forgot I was staying in what’s technically an apartment listing. The space feels more like a boutique hotel that someone’s interior designer friend got their hands on – and I mean that in the best way possible.

The location is honestly pretty smart if you know Prague at all. Křižíkova puts you in Karlín, which used to be this sort of overlooked neighborhood until everyone realized it’s actually where locals want to hang out. You’re maybe a 15-minute walk to Old Town, but here’s the thing – you’ll probably want to explore around here first. There’s this fantastic coffee spot called Míru that’s literally around the corner (locals line up there on Sunday mornings), and the whole area has this relaxed vibe that tourist-heavy Wenceslas Square just… doesn’t. Plus, getting around is easy since Křižíkova metro station is right there, though honestly, I ended up walking most places because the neighborhood’s just pleasant like that.

What really sells this loft, though, is how they’ve thought about the details that actually matter when you’re staying somewhere. The kitchen – and this is coming from someone who usually survives on hotel coffee – actually has proper equipment if you want to grab groceries from the Billa down the street. The wifi doesn’t mysteriously cut out every time someone next door turns on their microwave. And the bed situation is solid, which I always worry about with these modern loft setups that sometimes prioritize looking cool over, well, sleeping well. The whole place has these big windows that let in tons of natural light, though if you’re sensitive to street noise, just know that Křižíkova can get a bit busy during rush hour – nothing terrible, just city sounds being city sounds. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too, none of that “meet us at this random café three blocks away” situation you sometimes get with apartment rentals. The 9.1 rating makes sense when you add it all up – it’s the kind of place where small things are done right, and honestly, that’s what makes or breaks a stay for me. If you’re the type who wants to feel like you’re living in Prague rather than just passing through, this spot gets it.

  Really lovely stay here. The apartment had all we needed for our city break. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. Location was close to trams and metro so very easy to get to all the main sites.

  The apartment is just 15 minutes walk from the city center. There is everything that you can need and it's all new and clean. The owner is very friendly, he waited for us when we arrived late and gave us the chance to leave our stuff in the room while we were visiting the last day.
