Hotel Description
You know what really struck me about this place? It’s tucked away on Orebitská street in a way that makes you feel like you’ve discovered something the tour groups haven’t figured out yet. Žižkov isn’t the polished Old Town that everyone posts on Instagram – it’s grittier, more lived-in, and honestly, that’s exactly why I loved staying here. The apartment itself is properly cosy (not just marketing-speak cosy), with that kind of lived-in comfort that makes you want to actually hang out instead of just crashing between sightseeing marathons. The windows face the courtyard, which means you’re not dealing with street noise at night, but you still get those wonderful morning sounds of Prague waking up – coffee grinders from the café downstairs, trams rumbling in the distance.
The location is actually brilliant once you get oriented. I mean, you’re a fifteen-minute walk from Wenceslas Square, but more importantly, you’re right in the heart of what locals call the “real Prague.” There’s this fantastic Vietnamese restaurant two blocks down that stays open late, and the Akropolis cultural center is practically around the corner – perfect if you want live music that isn’t tourist trap folk shows. The nearest tram stop connects you everywhere you need to go, and honestly, I found myself walking most places because the neighborhood is just interesting to wander through. Žižkov has this amazing mix of crumbling Art Nouveau buildings and hipster coffee shops that somehow works perfectly together. Oh, and there’s a proper grocery store within two minutes if you want to grab breakfast supplies or wine for the evening.
What really sets this apart from hotel stays is how normal it feels – you’ve got actual counter space in the kitchen, decent water pressure (trust me, this matters after a day of walking on cobblestones), and the kind of lighting that doesn’t make you look like a zombie in the mirror. The host was refreshingly straightforward during check-in, no fake enthusiasm but genuinely helpful about neighborhood recommendations. The building itself has character – creaky wooden floors and that slightly musty smell that old European buildings get, but in a charming way, not a concerning way. I’d definitely stay here again, especially since the 8.9 rating actually feels accurate rather than inflated. It’s not trying to be fancy, it’s just trying to be a good place to stay, and honestly, that’s exactly what Prague needs more of.

The apartment is really cozy. It is equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay.
I liked the selection of furniture and discreet decor elements, a lot of wood, very comfortable bed, full bathroom. The area is quiet and at the same time close to the center. Amazing experience living in an old building.
If you have any questions, the host is always available by phone.
I fell in love with this apartment.Svetlana from Hungary – 26 October 2024 (10/10)
The apartment was beatiful, nice and clean. Very comfortable and good location.
What could be improved: We had a quest trying to find the keys in the locker box, which finally appeared to be at the reception desk in the nearby hotel, which we were not informed about in advance.Mohammad from Egypt – 26 June 2024 (9/10)
What could be improved: the is no floor drain in bathroom

Keith from United Kingdom – 27 February 2024 (7/10)
Very clean and well equipped with everything you might need. Good strong doors and very quiet at night with double glazing on all windows. Host responded very quickly to deal with a couple of minor problems in understanding the check in process. Close to transport links and convenience store. Plenty of hot water and heating.
What could be improved: Curtains were rather narrow for the windows and no shower curtainLichuan from Taiwan – 13 November 2024 (10/10)

Blisko Lidl i stacja tramwajowa i autobusowa. Dosłownie 10 minut od Muzeum wojskowego, które jest doskonałe i całkiem za darmo. Naprawdę dobra lokalizacja. Polecam.
What could be improved: Wieczorny szum samochodów, ale to raczej typowe w dużych a raczej ogromnych miastach.
