You know what? I almost walked past this place three times before I found it – which honestly turned out to be a good sign because it means you’re staying somewhere the tour groups haven’t discovered yet. This cosy apartment sits right on Trojanova street, and I mean literally a two-minute walk from the Dancing House (that weird wobbly building everyone photographs). The location is sort of perfect in that understated way – you’re close enough to everything that matters but tucked away from the crowds stumbling around Wenceslas Square at midnight.

The apartment itself feels like someone’s actual home, not some sterile hotel room with generic art. I loved that the windows face the quieter side of the street, so you get proper sleep even though you’re in the heart of New Town. The kitchen actually works – I made coffee there every morning and cooked dinner twice because, honestly, the local grocery stores are amazing and it felt nice to live like a local for a few days. What really got me was how thoughtfully everything was set up. There’s decent Wi-Fi (I worked from there one afternoon), the shower has proper water pressure, and someone clearly thought about lighting because you’re not squinting to read at night. The whole place just feels… lived-in, I guess? In the best possible way.

Here’s the thing about this spot that took me a day to fully appreciate – you’re basically positioned at this perfect intersection of Prague life. Walk five minutes toward the river and you hit Naplavka, which transforms into this incredible riverside scene on summer evenings. I’m talking food trucks, people dancing, locals drinking beer right on the embankment. Head the other direction and you’re climbing up toward the castle districts through these winding cobblestone streets that feel like stepping back centuries. The tram stop on Karlovo náměstí is close enough that you can easily get anywhere in the city, but far enough that you’re not dealing with constant street noise. I actually found myself just wandering the neighborhood in the mornings with my coffee – there’s this great little bakery two blocks down that opens early, and the whole area has this lived-in authenticity you don’t get in the tourist quarters. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too, none of that awkward hotel lobby waiting around. The rating of 9.6 makes total sense once you’ve stayed there – it’s not flashy or Instagram-perfect, but it gets all the important stuff exactly right.

  Excellent Location in great walking distance to all the main attractions and also very good transport links. Taxis were very cheap and would recommend using bolt to book. There was a little mini market/ store on the street corner which sold pretty much all essentials. The shower was really nice and there were all basic amenities provided.
  
  What could be improved: Mainly that the toilet was in a separate location to the sink/bath. But that’s just down to architecture. There were no teabags – the box was empty.

  Apartment is located close to river and center of Prague. There is lot of space, nice interior details and very comfy beds. Curtains are excellent, no light inside when closed. Everything was clean. Thanks to owner Meg for hand made soap – lovely.
  
  What could be improved: There is coffee mascine in the kitchen, but coffee capsules were only 4. But this is minor thing in our mind.

  Very nice apartment with everything you need for a great stay in Prague. Very comfortable and cosy. Around the corner there is a great view of the river and you can find the dancing hause. This is one of the best places I have stayed so far 🤩

  The apartment is perfect for any trip to Prague! It is in a great location, easily walkable to the city centre and right by both metro and tram stops. The apartment is tastefully decorated and comfortable with the beds also very comfortable. Meg has put a lot of thought and care into the apartment and truly makes it a home away from home with all facilities you need, hairdryer, utensils, nespresso pods and even an umbrella and more, I also love the unique touch of handmade soap! She is extremely friendly and great with communication via booking.com chat and went above and beyond and helped reserve a taxi from the airport for us. I would stay here again on my next trip to Prague and would recommend this apartment to anyone planning a visit to the city!
  
  What could be improved: There is nothing to say negative about the apartment it was perfect! Guests checking in bear in mind the door access is sent in booking.com chat, I didn’t realise this and missed the message so disturbed the hosts trying to get in. This is my fault, not the hosts just keep in mind to not make a mistake like me 🙂

  So spacious, clean and well maintained. Great for our family. Location is good, close enough to the centre to walk or quick tram but quiet at night. Hosts were super friendly and gave us recommendations of restaurants and bakeries. Would definitely stay again, great value for money
