You know what caught me off guard about COLORFACTORY SPA Hotel? The name makes it sound like some trendy pop-up art installation, but this place is actually a proper grown-up retreat tucked away on Pristavni Street – which, honestly, most tourists never venture down to. I mean, you’re technically still in Prague 7, but it feels refreshingly removed from the castle crowds and Old Town mayhem.

The spa element here isn’t just thrown in as an afterthought like at so many hotels. They’ve really committed to the wellness thing, and you can smell those eucalyptus-y aromatherapy scents the moment you walk into the lobby. The whole vibe is this interesting mix of contemporary Czech design with splashes of color that somehow don’t feel gimmicky – more like someone with actual taste decided to have some fun with the interiors. The staff genuinely knows their stuff about treatments too, not just reading from a script. I watched them customize recommendations based on what guests actually needed, which was refreshing. The rooms themselves are spacious by Prague standards (and trust me, that matters when you’re trying to unpack more than a weekend bag), with these floor-to-ceiling windows that let in tons of light. You’ll probably sleep better than expected – the street is surprisingly quiet, especially considering you’re still close enough to walk to Letná Park in about ten minutes.

What really sold me on this place was the practical stuff they get right. Check-in was smooth even when I arrived early, there’s actual parking available (which is basically a miracle in Prague), and the concierge knew about restaurant reservations beyond just the obvious tourist spots. They pointed me toward this little wine bar in Karlín that I never would’ve found otherwise. The breakfast setup is substantial without being overwhelming – proper Czech pastries alongside the usual international spread, and coffee that doesn’t taste like it’s been sitting around since dawn. Location-wise, you’re perfectly positioned to explore the quieter side of Prague while still being able to hop on the metro at Nádraží Holešovice when you want to hit the main sights. That 9.1 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there – it’s one of those places that just works without trying too hard to impress you.

  This was the best hotel I’ve been to so far. Rooms are exempt clean. The staff are the nicest, and I think most important care about clients. One I have in mind mostly, I don’t remember the name exactly but something like Onrad. We was asking about morning snacks to our train cuz we were leaving early, unfortunately the stores was already close led but he offered to went after his shift ends to shop and buy snacks for us. This was so thoughtful, I hope someone who’s reading this from the managers will give him a raise haha. Other people were super nice too. Now we had breakfast, it wasn’t like the best in the world, but there was a lot of variety and it was good. The wellness section is really clean and nice. Sauna is hot, jacuzzi is warm and I personally don’t need anything else. We had the best tome there and I really want to recommend this hotel.

  Exceptional hotel. If i could give an 11 out of 10 i would. The staff were a credit to the establishment everyone did their job to the highest standards form the warm welcome at reception and the very welcome advice ( they really know the city and how to get around easy like the 14 tram going into the city,) to the talented hospitality team and the outstanding chef who breakfast in particular were peerless in both quality and presentation to great lunches my only regret is I did not get a chance to try their dinners selection . The rooms were not just clean but immaculately clean. I am really to a return visit soon.

  Good breakfasts, availability of a wellness and fitness center, friendly staff.
  
  What could be improved: Having booked a wellness session for a specific time, I expected to spend some private time with my girlfriend in the jacuzzi or sauna. However, I encountered another man there. While he didn’t cause any discomfort (thanks to him), the romance and privacy were completely lost.
  After our hour there, no one else showed up, which raises the question of why he or we weren’t asked to come an hour later for greater convenience.

  Super friendly staff, location is literally ideal. One main tram into the centre is all you need. Breakfast was really good and room was cleaned daily really well.
  
  What could be improved: The gym is outdated and needs oil on what machines they do have. Could also do with playing some background music in there.

  The staff was very good, and everything was very clean! Very close to public transportation, and a few restaurants nearby.
  
  What could be improved: Smell from kitchen partly in hotel lobby and in the restaurant. Better ventilation is needed.

  One of the best hotels I've ever been. A full board experience.
  Rooms are pretty standard but spacious.
  Breakfast was excellent and the included spa was the real bonus. Also, the staff at the reception were amazing (+ they have a talking parrot!).
  Located in a quiet neighborhood, a little out of the crowded center, but with very easy access to the city by tram.
  
  What could be improved: The Wifi had some disruptions but otherwise, it was ok. Also, shower handling could be a little better, without rapid changes from hot to cold and vice versa.
