There’s this little bakery around the corner on Hybernská that locals actually use (not a tourist trap), and the Náměstí Míru metro stop is close enough that you can easily hit up Vinohrady for dinner without dealing with the crowds. The staff genuinely knows the neighborhood too, which makes a difference. When I asked about finding a decent bookstore, the guy at reception didn’t just Google it – he actually gave me walking directions to this hidden gem near the university.

The common areas have that lived-in elegance that’s hard to fake. The lobby doesn’t feel like a showroom, more like someone’s really well-appointed living room where you’d actually want to hang out with a coffee. Speaking of which, their breakfast setup is solid – not the sad continental spread you sometimes get, but proper local pastries and decent coffee. Check-in was smooth, no weird deposit holds or surprise fees, and they stored my luggage without any fuss when I arrived early.
