City Nest Apartments by Adrez Overview

You know what surprised me most about City Nest Apartments? It’s actually tucked away on this quiet stretch of Vladislavova street, but you’re literally a five-minute walk from Wenceslas Square – I mean, you can hear the energy of the city without dealing with the tourist chaos right outside your window. The building itself has that understated Prague charm, nothing too flashy, but when you step inside, it’s clear someone put real thought into making this feel like home rather than just another place to crash.

The apartments themselves are honestly better than most hotel rooms I’ve stayed in around this price point. They’ve got proper kitchenettes (not those sad mini-fridges with a hot plate), and the beds are actually comfortable – you know how hit-or-miss that can be in Europe. What I really appreciated was the little touches: decent coffee setup, enough outlets for all your devices, and windows that actually open (trust me, you’ll want the fresh air on those warm Prague evenings). The WiFi worked perfectly, which matters when you’re trying to figure out tram routes or book dinner reservations. There’s a small grocery store – Tesco Express – literally around the corner on Národní, so you can grab breakfast stuff or wine without hunting around the touristy areas where everything costs twice as much.

Location-wise, it’s kind of genius actually. You’re close enough to walk to Old Town Square in about ten minutes, but far enough from the main drag that you won’t hear drunk tourists singing at 2 AM. The nearest tram stop is Národní třída, maybe a three-minute walk, and from there you can get pretty much anywhere in the city. I found myself walking most places though – Kampa Island and the Charles Bridge are right there, and honestly, that’s when Prague shows off its best side anyway. The neighborhood has this lived-in feel with actual Czechs going about their business, not just souvenir shops and overpriced restaurants. Check-in was smooth (there’s someone at the desk during normal hours, not just a lockbox situation), and they were helpful with restaurant recommendations that weren’t the usual tourist traps. Fair warning though – like most older Prague buildings, the elevator is tiny, so if you’ve packed like you’re moving permanently, you might be making a few trips.

Prague hotels range from charming boutique properties in the historic Old Town Square to elegant castle-view hotels and modern accommodations near Wenceslas Square.

Reviews of City Nest Apartments by Adrez

  • Viona from Kosovo – 23 January 2024 (9/10)

The location is superb. Very close to Kafkas rotating sculpture, mini golf with black lights area, shops, restaurants, pubs, anonymous shrinks bar.
With the host details, check-in was smooth, and everything went fine.

What could be improved: The apartment was not sparkling clean. We could see a few strains of hair in the bathroom and near the bed but the sheets were clean, the kitchen was clean and the toilet was overall clean, except the few hair strains here and there (maybe like 5 in total)

  • Efthymios from Greece – 30 March 2025 (9/10)

Good location, very clean and spacious, comfortable.
The bathroom door had a problem closing. No place to leave luggage. No communication with staff.

  • Boli from Singapore – 22 March 2025 (8/10)

good location and the room facilities are well preserved/maintained.

What could be improved: the only problem is a bit noisy at night because the apartment is just opposite the Irish bar.

  • Fay from United Kingdom – 2 March 2025 (9/10)

  • Alexandra from Cyprus – 8 February 2025 (8/10)

We liked that was in center, we were walking all 3 days that we spent there. It was nice and worm inside, the bed was soft, we didn’t mind, it was nice and comfortable even if we had 2 blankets not one big.
