Chevron Hotel (listed by some booking sites as Chevron Design Hotel Prague) is a 50-room design hotel at Holečkova 19 in Smíchov, Prague 5, below Petřín Hill.

Location

Petřín Hill is about 200 metres from the hotel. The Švandovo divadlo tram stop is about 4 minutes on foot and Arbesovo náměstí about 6 minutes. The Nový Smíchov shopping centre is about 6 minutes’ walk, Kampa Island about 11 minutes and the Dancing House, across the river, about 13 minutes. Charles Bridge is roughly 2 km away. Václav Havel Airport is about 20–25 minutes by car.

The property

The hotel occupies an 1890s apartment building that was renovated and converted by the architects Jestico + Whiles, with the work completed in 2020; the street façade was restored and several historic features kept. Interiors combine blackened steel, tan leather, timber and black-and-white geometric floors, and the roof space holds loft-style rooms with views over Smíchov. The 50 rooms have air conditioning and a kettle or coffee maker, and there is a lift. Breakfast is served in a glazed extension facing the rear garden, at about EUR 13 per person (07:00–10:30 on weekdays, from 07:30 at weekends).
