Charming 1 bedroom apartment in the city center of Prague Overview

First Impressions

Walking up to Charming 1 bedroom apartment in the city center of Prague on Růžová Street, you immediately understand why couples give this place such high marks. I mean, you’re literally steps away from everything that makes Prague magical — the cobblestone streets, the medieval architecture, that unmistakable old-world charm that draws millions here every year. This four-star property sits right in the heart of it all, and honestly, the location alone makes it worth considering.

The Perfect Prague Address

What really struck me about this place is how it manages to be central without feeling touristy or overwhelming. You’re on a quieter side street, but Prague Castle and Old Town Square are both within easy walking distance — I’m talking maybe 10-15 minutes tops. The neighborhood has that authentic Prague feel, with local cafés and small shops mixed in with the historic sites. You know what’s great? You can actually hear the church bells from various directions, which sounds cheesy but really adds to the whole experience.

The Apartment Experience

The apartment itself feels more like staying at a well-traveled friend’s place than a typical hotel room. There’s a proper kitchen setup, which is honestly a game-changer when you want to grab fresh bread and local cheese from the market and have breakfast at your own pace. The bedroom is cozy without being cramped, and the whole space has this lived-in comfort that makes you want to settle in for more than just a night or two. The décor strikes that perfect balance between Prague’s historic character and modern functionality.

What Makes It Special

Here’s the thing that really sets this place apart — it’s the kind of spot where you feel like you’re actually living in Prague, not just visiting it. The building has character (think original details and that slightly creaky charm of old European architecture), but everything works properly. The wifi is solid, the shower has good pressure, and there’s enough space to spread out your stuff without feeling like you’re living out of a suitcase. Plus, having your own space means you can come and go as you please, which is perfect for those early morning photography walks or late evening wine sessions.

Why Guests Love It

With couples rating the location 9.5 out of 10, it’s clear this place hits the sweet spot for romantic getaways. The combination of privacy, authentic Prague atmosphere, and that unbeatable central location creates something special. You’re close enough to everything that matters, but you’ve got your own little Prague sanctuary to retreat to. Whether you’re planning long days exploring the city or prefer a more relaxed pace with plenty of downtime, this apartment gives you the flexibility to do Prague your way. It’s the kind of place that makes you start planning your return visit before you’ve even checked out.

Reviews of Charming 1 bedroom apartment in the city center of Prague

  • Wouldn't recommend but not terrible – Laura from United Kingdom – 18 July 2025 (7/10)

The apartment was a good size and looked to have everything we would need (though we didn't use much of the kitchen etc so we cannot confirm). Location was ideal. Customer service were also very responsive.

What could be improved: The fabric shower curtain is a health hazard and needs to be removed immediately – I don't want to think of what the stains or smells may be! The washing machine also smelled bad, I'm assuming this could just be lack of proper ventilation but I'm guessing. Generally I think the cleaning standard otherwise could have been better but it was passable for a few days. Having nowhere to store bags before or after check out gives a poor experience. The fan provided was filthy and pretty useless in a room of that size. Opening the windows for cooler air during the night also isn't really an option due to the noise – the unit really needs aircon.

  • Amazing spacious apartment in a fantastic location – Lucie from United Kingdom – 10 June 2025 (9/10)

Spacious, clean, well equipped. Fantastic shower. Bright and airy. Location is amazing. Getting key was simple.

What could be improved: A later checkout would be nice but other than that it was perfect.

  • Exceptional – Damir from Bosnia and Herzegovina – 26 May 2025 (10/10)

    The great position.
Cute apartment close to many attractions, but in a quiet street. . .

What could be improved: Just everything was ok

  • Charming ++ – Kim from Australia – 22 December 2024 (10/10)

It was only 4 minutes from the train station. The apartment was very spacious, 50 square meters which seemed more because it was so well designed with a separate entrance hall, a bathroom off the entrance hall and then a dining room/kitchen and a bedroom that was separate again. This is our third visit to Prague and this was the best apartment. The apartment is on the first floor in a traditional Prague building. It has great character. We would definitely stay there again.

    What could be improved: Nothing

  • Exceptional – Анна from Ukraine – 15 December 2024 (10/10)

    Everything was great! Highly recommended!

  • Had a fabulous trip Prague so beautiful. Flat was really good value. – Linda from United Kingdom – 16 November 2024 (10/10)

The location was fantastic. Within walking distance to lots of the sites. We had cold weather but the flat was very warm and comfortable.
    Was pleased it had Netflix.
    Would definitely recommend.

What could be improved: Nothing really but could do with bigger wine glasses.

  • the accommodation was not the attraction, Prague city was !!!! – Vincenzo from South Africa – 22 August 2024 (7/10)

Location is good, just found that taxis did not collect at the accommodation address, that was a problem as one had to go to different location, slightly distant from the accommodation

What could be improved: unfortunately, NO FAULT OF THE OWNER, there were road works for the full duration of our stay, noise levels were unbearably high, windows had to be closed, no air conditioning in the accommodation !! not a great situation.

  • Superb – Man from Hong Kong – 24 July 2024 (9/10)

    Nice host,

  • Lovely city break while staying centrally in renovated apartament. Recommend – Kadri from Estonia – 27 March 2024 (9/10)

Very good location, around the corner of old town sqare. Lots of cafes around.
Beds were very comfortable to sleep in. Good insturctions to find the place as it was super easy.

What could be improved: Did not notice that deposit is necessary. It should be more visible in conditions. I received my money back in a week, no problem.

  • One of my best stay ever! – Martha from Indonesia – 17 March 2024 (10/10)

The location is amazing, amenities are super complete! Definitely one of my best stay!

What could be improved: Just a bit mishap on the deposit payment but all good at the end! So no complaints
