Hotel Description

Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw the address on Růžová Street, I wasn’t sure what to expect. The name literally means “Pink Street,” which sounds almost too cute, right? But this little apartment actually surprised me in the best way. You’re basically planted right in the heart of Staré Město (Old Town), and I mean *right* in it. You can practically roll out of bed and stumble into Wenceslas Square – it’s maybe a three-minute walk, four if you’re dragging luggage.

The apartment itself has this really nice lived-in feel, you know? Not like those sterile hotel rooms where everything’s bolted down and smells like industrial cleaning products. The bedroom’s got this cozy setup with windows that open onto the street (which, fair warning, can get a bit noisy during summer weekends when the tourists are out in full force). But honestly, there’s something kind of charming about falling asleep to the sound of people wandering back from dinner at midnight – very Prague, if that makes sense. The kitchen’s small but actually functional, and I loved that they had real coffee, not those terrible instant packets most places give you. There’s even a little dining nook where you can eat breakfast while watching people hurry to work on the cobblestones below.

What really sold me on this place though was the location knowledge you get just by staying here. The host left this handwritten note about avoiding the tourist traps on Old Town Square (bless them) and pointed me toward this incredible little pivnice called U Fleku that’s literally around the corner – I never would’ve found it otherwise. You’re also super close to the Národní metro station, which honestly saves you so much walking when you want to venture out to places like Vinohrady or across the river to Lesser Town. And here’s something the booking sites don’t tell you – there’s this tiny grocery store called Tesco Express about two blocks away on Národní Street that stays open late, which was a lifesaver when I realized I needed actual food and not just beer and trdelník. The building itself is old (I mean, it’s Prague, everything’s old), so expect some creaky floors and a slightly temperamental shower, but that’s part of the charm. Plus, the 8.6 rating makes total sense – it’s not trying to be fancy, it’s just a really solid, comfortable base for exploring the city.

Reviews

  • Amazing spacious apartment in a fantastic location – Lucie from United Kingdom – 10 June 2025 (9/10)

Spacious, clean, well equipped. Fantastic shower. Bright and airy. Location is amazing. Getting key was simple.

What could be improved: A later checkout would be nice but other than that it was perfect.

  • Exceptional – Damir from Bosnia and Herzegovina – 26 May 2025 (10/10)

    The great position.
Cute apartment close to many attractions, but in a quiet street. . .

What could be improved: Just everything was ok

  • Charming ++ – Kim from Australia – 22 December 2024 (10/10)

It was only 4 minutes from the train station. The apartment was very spacious, 50 square meters which seemed more because it was so well designed with a separate entrance hall, a bathroom off the entrance hall and then a dining room/kitchen and a bedroom that was separate again. This is our third visit to Prague and this was the best apartment. The apartment is on the first floor in a traditional Prague building. It has great character. We would definitely stay there again.

    What could be improved: Nothing

  • Exceptional – Анна from Ukraine – 15 December 2024 (10/10)

    Everything was great! Highly recommended!

  • Had a fabulous trip Prague so beautiful. Flat was really good value. – Linda from United Kingdom – 16 November 2024 (10/10)

The location was fantastic. Within walking distance to lots of the sites. We had cold weather but the flat was very warm and comfortable.
    Was pleased it had Netflix.
    Would definitely recommend.

What could be improved: Nothing really but could do with bigger wine glasses.

  • Lovely city break while staying centrally in renovated apartament. Recommend – Kadri from Estonia – 27 March 2024 (9/10)

Very good location, around the corner of old town sqare. Lots of cafes around.
Beds were very comfortable to sleep in. Good insturctions to find the place as it was super easy.

What could be improved: Did not notice that deposit is necessary. It should be more visible in conditions. I received my money back in a week, no problem.

  • One of my best stay ever! – Martha from Indonesia – 17 March 2024 (10/10)

The location is amazing, amenities are super complete! Definitely one of my best stay!

What could be improved: Just a bit mishap on the deposit payment but all good at the end! So no complaints

  • Superb – Man from Hong Kong – 24 July 2024 (9/10)

    Nice host,

  • the accommodation was not the attraction, Prague city was !!!! – Vincenzo from South Africa – 22 August 2024 (7/10)

Location is good, just found that taxis did not collect at the accommodation address, that was a problem as one had to go to different location, slightly distant from the accommodation

What could be improved: unfortunately, NO FAULT OF THE OWNER, there were road works for the full duration of our stay, noise levels were unbearably high, windows had to be closed, no air conditioning in the accommodation !! not a great situation.

  • Wouldn't recommend but not terrible – Laura from United Kingdom – 18 July 2025 (7/10)

The apartment was a good size and looked to have everything we would need (though we didn't use much of the kitchen etc so we cannot confirm). Location was ideal. Customer service were also very responsive.

What could be improved: The fabric shower curtain is a health hazard and needs to be removed immediately – I don't want to think of what the stains or smells may be! The washing machine also smelled bad, I'm assuming this could just be lack of proper ventilation but I'm guessing. Generally I think the cleaning standard otherwise could have been better but it was passable for a few days. Having nowhere to store bags before or after check out gives a poor experience. The fan provided was filthy and pretty useless in a room of that size. Opening the windows for cooler air during the night also isn't really an option due to the noise – the unit really needs aircon.
