Central Station Studios Overview
First Impressions
Walking into Central Station Studios, you immediately get that “this is exactly what I needed” feeling. It’s one of those three-star places that punches way above its weight — honestly, the 8.8 rating makes perfect sense once you’re there. The lobby has this clean, modern vibe without trying too hard, and the staff actually seems happy to see you (which, let’s be real, isn’t always a given in Prague). The attention to detail in the common areas sets the tone for what you’ll experience throughout your stay.
Location That Actually Matters
Here’s the thing about Žižkov — it’s where locals actually hang out, not just tourists taking selfies. You’re close enough to walk to the main sights, but far enough away that you won’t be dodging tour groups every morning. The area has this authentic Prague energy with proper pubs and cafes where you’ll hear more Czech than English. I mean, there’s a reason couples rate the location 9.0 — you get that neighborhood feel while still being connected to everything that matters. This district offers a genuine slice of local life that enhances any visit.
The Studio Setup
The room situation here is pretty clever, actually. These aren’t your typical hotel boxes — they’re proper studios with enough space to spread out your stuff without living out of a suitcase. The beds are genuinely comfortable (and I’m picky about this), which explains why guests keep raving about the sleep quality. You know what I appreciated? The windows are big enough that you don’t feel like you’re in a cave, and the soundproofing is solid — important when you’re in a city that knows how to party. Each studio is thoughtfully designed for comfort and functionality.
Practical Stuff That Works
The whole place just feels well thought out. Everything you need is there without unnecessary frills that jack up the price. The Wi-Fi actually works properly, the shower has decent pressure, and the heating responds when you adjust it — small things that make a huge difference when you’re trying to relax after walking around Prague all day. Plus, being studios means you have a bit more flexibility with your schedule and space than a standard hotel room setup. These practical touches demonstrate genuine care for guest satisfaction.
Why Guests Love It
Look, this isn’t about fancy amenities or Instagram-worthy lobbies. Central Station Studios works because it gets the basics absolutely right and throws in some genuine local character. You’re staying in a neighborhood that feels real, sleeping in beds that don’t leave you sore, and paying prices that won’t make you wince when you check your bank account. The 9.1 location score isn’t just about proximity to tourist spots — it’s about being somewhere that actually enhances your Prague experience rather than just providing a place to crash. This hotel represents exceptional value for discerning travelers.

Reviews of Central Station Studios
3 days in Prague – Sally from New Zealand – 12 July 2025 (10/10)
Fabulous location, close to station, supermarket, pharmacy and eateries.
Portable cooling fan and windows safe to leave open during the day.
Clear self check-in instructions and accommodation booklet had great recommendations for local restaurants. Thanks, Peter! – Alexander from United States – 8 July 2025 (10/10)
Comfortable, clean, well-put-together room!
Exceptional – Curtov from Moldova – 10 June 2025 (10/10)
Close to center. 15 min nice walking
memorable – Malgorzata from United Kingdom – 2 June 2025 (8/10)
The room was spacious, clean, well equiped (android tv, fridge, kettle, cups, coffee, tea, sugar, basic cutlery, etc). The location of the property was convenient (15 min walk to central Prague, 5 min walk to the main station (Hlavni nadrazdi) and the AE bus stop, two min walk to Lidl).
What could be improved: I didn't like pictures on the wall in our room, especially the one of the double decker bus in London……it almost fell
on my head whilst I was sleeping……
First of all, I would like to see a picture of a beautiful Czech landscape and secondly, it should be securely attached to the wall……
I was lucky not to leave Prague with an injury……Great location for a trip to Prague. Would reccommend, would stay again., – Andy from United Kingdom – 26 April 2025 (9/10)
Nightime flight with arrival after midnight. Easy access to room via keysafe. Simple checkout process. Old Town Square easily walkable (20 mins) or regular trams from nearby stop. Airport Express shuttle from main train station 5 mins walk away. Spacious studio room with comfy beds. Nearby bars, restaurants and coffee shops. Lidl 2 mins walk for supplies! Would reccommend, would stay again.,
What could be improved: Annoying door on bathroom doesn't shut properly and swings open although eventually shuts with some endeavour. Hey, if this is my only negative point, then clearly this is a great accomodation choice!Exceptional – Silva from Switzerland – 14 April 2025 (10/10)
Everything was clean, the bed is super comfortable and it's super well located
Simple and comfortable, great location – Yulia from Netherlands – 16 March 2025 (10/10)
Everything was great – communication with the host was super easy, instructions were very clear and the room itself was clean and comfortable. The location was quiet and very close to the main station but also close to Lidl and cafes/restaurants. The room was simple and comfortable – there was a fridge, a table and some coffee, tea and a kettle + utensils. Would stay there again!
it was great, with all the facilities and location. Very good value for money – Selena from Philippines – 9 March 2025 (10/10)
It was easy to find and very clean
What could be improved: the cleaning every 10am was a little too noisy but it wasnt so badSuperb – Suraj from Germany – 15 February 2025 (9/10)
The place was well mentained and the host is super nice and helpful! Will stay again if visiting Prague!
