But here’s the thing most people don’t realize: Týnská is this narrow cobblestone street that feels completely separate from the tourist chaos, even though you’re right in the middle of everything. I’d walk out in the morning and grab coffee from this little café around the corner (locals go there, not just tourists), then be at the Týn Church or wandering toward Wenceslas Square within minutes.

The apartments themselves have that perfect balance of old Prague character without feeling like you’re staying in a museum. The ceilings are high, the windows are these gorgeous old things that actually open properly, and you get real light – which honestly isn’t a given in Old Town. I stayed during a pretty busy August week, and while you definitely hear some street noise (it’s the city center, what do you expect?), it dies down after the restaurants close. The kitchen was actually functional too, not just decorative, which matters if you want to grab groceries from the Tesco on Národní and make breakfast instead of paying tourist prices every morning. Check-in was smooth – they met me right at the building, showed me everything, gave me these great local recommendations that weren’t just the obvious stuff everyone knows about.

What really sold me was the small details that show someone actually thought about what travelers need. Good wifi that doesn’t cut out every twenty minutes, plenty of outlets in useful places, and the bathroom had proper water pressure (you’d be surprised how often that’s an issue in these old buildings). The whole building feels well-maintained without being sterile – you know, that sweet spot where historical charm meets modern comfort. Honestly, at this price point and with that 8.6 rating, I get why it books up quickly.
