It’s tucked away on Květinářská street in a way that makes you feel like you’ve discovered something the tour groups haven’t figured out yet. I mean, you’re still close enough to walk to the castle (hence the name, obviously), but there’s this quiet residential vibe that honestly feels more authentic than staying right in the thick of Old Town chaos.

The building itself has that Prague thing going on – you know, where every structure looks like it has stories to tell, but this one’s been updated in all the right ways. The lobby actually smells like coffee and old wood instead of that generic hotel air freshener most places pump in. When I checked in, the staff knew the neighborhood well enough to point me toward a little bakery around the corner that I never would’ve found otherwise. And parking – well, if you’re driving, there are spots nearby, but honestly, you’ll want to ditch the car anyway since trams run pretty regularly from this area. The 8.7 rating makes sense once you settle in; it’s one of those places where the details add up. Rooms are solid without being flashy – good beds, windows that actually open (thank god), and bathrooms that don’t make you feel like you’re in a closet. What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night, even though you’re not exactly in the middle of nowhere.

The location is sort of perfect if you think about it – close enough to walk to Hradčany and the castle complex without dealing with the crowds every time you step outside. Plus, you’re a quick tram ride from Wenceslas Square or the Jewish Quarter when you want to dive into the touristy stuff. I found myself walking down to the Vltava pretty regularly; there’s something about those riverside paths that just works, especially in the early morning before the city fully wakes up. The neighborhood has actual grocery stores and cafes where locals go, which means you can grab real food instead of living off hotel breakfast and overpriced tourist restaurants. Four stars feels right for this place – it’s not trying to be the fanciest hotel in Prague, but everything works the way it should, and the staff genuinely seems to care about whether you’re having a good time.

  The room was really nice and big, very friendly and helpful staff, shuttle service was a big plus for us. We liked it very much.

  Beautiful property in a special, scenic location, huge and nice room, clean kitchen and bathroom – everything perfect. Very kind staff both on reception and in the restaurant. Fresh and diverse breakfast, super nice buffet.
  
  What could be improved: The swimming pool is there but looks old and bit worn out, other than that everything great and well definitely come back

  The location is excelent, quiet and green, the staff is super friendly, the room clean and spacious, the breakfast has variety and is goid, the shuttle to the metro is super helpful, the fact that they have a pool and sauna is the cherry on top after a winter's day on the streets.

  Beautiful setting. Outside parking in a lovely garden space was a blessing! The view from the upper garden was amazing. And the breakfast was so good! We had dinner at the on site restaurant one evening. It was delicious and a beautiful outside setting to enjoy!
