First Impressions

Walking up to Casa Nuova on Krocínova Street, you immediately get that “I’m in the real Prague” feeling — you know what I mean? This four-star boutique property sits right in the heart of the city, and honestly, the location is pretty much unbeatable. The building itself has this understated elegance that doesn’t scream “tourist hotel,” which I actually really appreciated. It feels more like you’re staying at a well-appointed city residence than a typical hotel.

Location & Getting Around

Here’s the thing about Casa Nuova’s location — it’s genuinely exceptional, and I’m not just saying that because they claim a 9.2 location score. You’re literally steps away from Prague’s main attractions, but tucked away enough that you’re not dealing with the constant tourist crowds right outside your door. I could walk to Old Town Square in about five minutes, and the famous Astronomical Clock was practically around the corner. The nearest metro station is close enough that getting anywhere in Prague becomes effortless, which honestly made exploring so much easier than I expected.

The Room Experience

My room had this perfect blend of modern comfort and subtle Czech character — nothing too flashy, but everything felt thoughtfully designed. The beds were genuinely comfortable (sometimes you never know with European hotels), and the bathroom was well-appointed with good water pressure, which matters more than you’d think after a long day of sightseeing. What I really loved was how quiet it was at night, despite being so centrally located. The windows did a great job of keeping the city noise out, so I actually got decent sleep.

Dining & Amenities

The hotel’s restaurant serves solid Czech and international dishes — nothing groundbreaking, but definitely good quality and reasonably priced for the location. I mean, you’re in Prague, so you’ll probably want to explore the incredible local dining scene anyway, but it’s nice knowing you have a reliable option right downstairs. The staff was genuinely helpful with restaurant recommendations too, and they seemed to know the neighborhood really well. There’s also a small fitness area if you need to work off all that Czech beer and goulash.

Why Guests Love It

What really sets Casa Nuova apart is how it manages to feel both central and peaceful at the same time. Couples especially seem to love this place (and I can see why — there’s something romantic about the whole setup), but honestly, it works well for any type of traveler who wants to be in the thick of things without sacrificing comfort. The combination of that prime location, comfortable accommodations, and reasonable rates makes it one of those places you’d actually book again. Plus, the staff genuinely seems to care about making your Prague experience memorable, which goes a long way in my book.

  What could be improved: Ev ile anahtar alınan yer arası maalesef pek yakın değil.
  
  Anahtar alındıktan sonra kolaylık olması adına ev ile ilgili bilgileri içeren döküman verilmesi faydalıydı. Ancak bilgiler biraz eskimişti. Dış kapıyı belgede yazan giriş kodu ile açamadık, anahtarla açabildik.
  
  Belgede yazan wi-fi ağı ve şifreyle internet erişimi mümkün olmadı. 1 günü internetsiz geçirdikten sonra gönderilen teknisyenin getirdiği mobil wifi ile internete girişim mümkün olmadı. Ancak yatak odasında tesadüfen bulduğumuz başka bir mobil wifi ile giriş yapabildik.
  
  Apartmanı seçerken özellikler arasında gösterilen çamaşır makinası için deterjan olmaması ve bunu belirtmemize rağmen çözüm üretilmemesi de üzücüydü
