Overview

First Impressions

When I first walked into Business Studio Andel, 10 min to Centre, NETFLIX, Paid Parking, I honestly wasn’t expecting much from what sounds like a pretty straightforward business hotel. But you know what? This four-star property in the Smíchov district actually surprised me. The building itself is modern and clean, and there’s something refreshingly honest about a place that tells you exactly what you’re getting right in the name — Netflix access and yes, you’ll pay for parking, but at least they’re upfront about it.

The Andel Neighborhood

Here’s what I really appreciate about staying in this part of Prague — you’re close enough to everything that matters, but you’re not dealing with the tourist chaos of Old Town every time you step outside. The Andel area has this great mix of local life and easy access to the center. I mean, you’ve got the Nový Smíchov shopping center practically next door, which is actually pretty handy for grabbing essentials or catching a movie. The metro connection here is solid too, so getting to Wenceslas Square or the castle district really does take about 10 minutes like they promise.

The Studio Setup

The room itself feels more like a compact apartment than a typical hotel space. There’s a proper kitchenette with everything you need if you want to skip eating out every meal — which, let’s be honest, can get expensive in Prague’s tourist areas. The Netflix setup works exactly as advertised, and after walking around the city all day, I actually found myself looking forward to settling in with a show. The space is efficiently designed without feeling cramped, and the bed is genuinely comfortable.

Practical Considerations

Look, the paid parking situation might seem annoying, but if you’re driving in Prague, you’ll quickly realize that having a guaranteed spot is actually worth paying for. Street parking around here can be a nightmare, and hotel parking in the city center costs way more. The staff keeps things simple and professional — they’re not going to wow you with elaborate service, but they’ll sort out whatever you need without any fuss. The building stays quiet at night, which I really appreciated since some Prague hotels can get pretty noisy with all the party groups.

Why Guests Love It

What really works about this place is that it delivers exactly what it promises without any pretense. Couples seem to particularly love the location — and I get why, since you can easily walk to romantic spots along the river or catch the tram to the castle district for sunset views. The combination of having your own space with the kitchen setup, reliable WiFi, and that Netflix access creates this nice balance between exploring Prague and having a proper place to decompress. It’s not trying to be fancy, but it’s genuinely comfortable and well-located, which honestly matters more than most hotel amenities when you’re actually traveling.

Early hotels booking in Prague is essential during major events like the Prague Spring Festival, as accommodations fill up quickly with visitors eager to experience the city’s renowned classical music scene and Gothic architecture.

Exceptional

Very cozy

What could be improved: Close to the front door, in the rush hour like people going to work might be a bit noisy.
