Business Studio Andel, 10 min to Centre, NETFLIX, Paid Parking Overview
Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw “Business Studio Andel” in the booking confirmation, I wasn’t exactly jumping with excitement. But you know what? This place totally surprised me, and I mean that in the best way possible. It’s tucked away on Stroupežnického street in the Smíchov district, which honestly feels more like where actual Praguers live rather than tourist central. The Anděl area has this interesting mix of modern shopping centers and residential blocks – it’s not Instagram-pretty, but it’s real Prague, if that makes sense.
The studio itself is exactly what it says on the tin: clean, functional, and surprisingly well thought out for the space. I mean, they’ve managed to fit everything you need without making it feel cramped, which is honestly impressive given Prague’s typical apartment sizes. The Netflix thing isn’t just thrown in there for marketing – they actually have a decent smart TV setup, and after walking around Prague all day, collapsing on their comfortable bed to binge-watch something was perfect. The kitchen area is small but totally usable (I made coffee every morning and even managed a simple dinner one night), and there’s this nice attention to detail throughout – good lighting, proper curtains that actually block light, decent water pressure in the shower. You can tell someone who travels for business actually designed this place.
Now, about that “10 minutes to centre” claim – well, it depends what you mean by centre, doesn’t it? If you’re talking Old Town Square, it’s more like 25-30 minutes door-to-door, but honestly, the metro connection from Anděl is fantastic. You’re literally a 3-minute walk to Anděl station, and from there it’s a straight shot on the yellow line to Můstek or Muzeum. During rush hour, I actually found it faster than some hotels closer to the center because you’re not dealing with tram delays or walking through crowded streets. Plus, the neighborhood has this great energy in the evenings – there’s a huge shopping center right at the metro stop (Nový Smíchov) if you need anything, and some solid local restaurants that tourists never find. The paid parking situation is straightforward – about 15 euros a day, which for Prague city parking is actually reasonable, and it’s in a proper garage so you don’t have to worry about your car.
What really won me over was how quiet it gets at night. You’re on a residential street, so once evening settles in, it’s properly peaceful – none of that constant tourist chatter or late-night bar noise you get in Wenceslas Square area. The building itself seems well-maintained, and check-in was refreshingly simple (they send you codes, no awkward lobby waiting). I stayed there during a particularly busy conference week in Prague, and while hotels in the center were either booked solid or charging ridiculous rates, this place delivered exactly what I needed at a fair price. It’s not going to win any design awards, but sometimes you just want a place that works well, you know?
Early hotels booking in Prague is essential during major events like the Prague Spring Festival, as accommodations fill up quickly with visitors eager to experience the city’s renowned classical music scene and Gothic architecture.

The apartment was comfortable and clean, perfect for solo travelers or couples. It's in a great location, very close to a tram and bus station so you can quickly get anywhere you want. Also the manager was nice, she let me check in early, and all communication went smoothly.

We had a very pleasant stay in a cozy and well furnished apartment. Location is great with plenty of restaurants, coffeeshops, a mall and more. A special thanks to Petra for shipping home an item that we forgot after our stay. Recommended!

Very good place to stay in Prague. The biggest advantage in my opinion is location of apartment. It's nearby bus and tram stop and is close to metro station. Also we have there nearby shopping center. Apartment was clean and comfortable.
Great stay in Prague – Marle from South Africa – 18 April 2023 (10/10)
Everything you need. Area has lots of shops and restaurants. Very quiet inside the apartment and looking onto a back garden. Host very responsive. Can recommend.
What could be improved: Nothing. Everything was great.Beautiful apartment in the center of Andel – Shay from United Kingdom – 11 October 2022 (10/10)
The location was perfect, it was right next to the shopping centre and was just out of the way of a lot of the noisy areas. There is an airport shuttle bus stop right outside the apartment which made travel a lot more convinent.
The apartment itself is a little small in size, especially the bathroom. However, the studio room did feel spacey overall. All required amenities were included, plenty of storage space in the apartment and the bed was very comfortable.
What could be improved: The speed of the internet is on the slower side, however, it will generally be suitable for most people.Very good – Dalius from Lithuania – 13 July 2023 (8/10)
The building form 1937, charming inner yard, quiet to sleep, no direct sunlight – cool climate inside.
What could be improved: It is a very often problem of rent apartments – synthetic blanket – pillow (inside)
