I’ll be honest – when I first saw “Brunetti Design Apartment” on Jindřicha Plachty street, I wasn’t expecting much from the outside. The building looks pretty standard for this part of Prague 5, but man, step inside and it’s a completely different story. The design is actually thoughtful here, not just thrown together like some places that slap “design” in their name. You know what I mean – clean lines, but still feels like a home rather than a sterile showroom. The lighting is spot-on too, which sounds like a weird thing to notice, but after staying in places with those harsh overhead bulbs, you appreciate when someone gets it right.

What really sold me on this place is how it sits in the neighborhood. Jindřicha Plachty isn’t one of those tourist-heavy streets where you’re dodging selfie sticks every morning, but you’re still connected to everything that matters. There’s this little bakery about two blocks down that locals actually use – I’d grab coffee there most mornings instead of the tourist traps near Old Town. The tram connections are solid (honestly better than some hotels charging twice as much), and parking… well, Prague parking is Prague parking, but the street isn’t completely impossible if you’re driving. Just don’t expect miracles during rush hour.

The apartment itself feels bigger than it probably is – clever layout, I guess. The kitchen actually works for more than just heating up leftovers, which was a pleasant surprise. I mean, I wasn’t planning to cook elaborate meals, but having the option to make proper breakfast or store some decent groceries made the whole stay feel less… touristy, if that makes sense. The bathroom has this rainfall shower that’s legitimately good, not just for show. And here’s something that matters more than you’d think – the walls are thick enough that you’re not hearing every conversation from the neighboring units. Sleep quality was genuinely solid, even on weekends when the area gets a bit livelier. The 9.2 rating isn’t just inflated reviews from friends and family – this place actually delivers on the details that make or break a longer stay. It’s the kind of spot where you start thinking “okay, I could actually live here for a month” instead of just surviving until checkout.
