You know what caught me off guard about this place? The name “Bright Studio” actually undersells it – I mean, yeah, it’s bright with these massive windows facing east, but it feels way more spacious than your typical Prague studio. I stayed here last spring when I needed something close to the center but didn’t want to deal with the tourist chaos of Old Town, and honestly, this spot on Koněvova hit that sweet spot perfectly.

The whole Vinohrady district thing works really well here. You’re genuinely 10 minutes from Wenceslas Square (I timed it – more like 8 if you walk fast), but you’re on this tree-lined street that feels almost residential. There’s this little Vietnamese place two doors down that locals actually go to, and a proper Czech pub around the corner where you won’t hear a word of English after 7pm. The free parking situation is legit too – they’ve got spots behind the building, which honestly saved me probably 30 euros a day because street parking in Prague is becoming a nightmare.

What I really appreciated was how they’ve set up the space. The kitchen area actually works for making real meals, not just heating up instant noodles. There’s a decent-sized fridge and the coffee machine is one of those Nespresso ones that doesn’t taste like cardboard. The bathroom surprised me – proper water pressure and it stays hot, which you can’t take for granted in some Prague apartments. I did notice the tram 11 runs right outside, but it’s honestly more comforting than annoying. Stops running around midnight anyway, so you get that urban white noise during the day and quiet nights for sleeping. The Wi-Fi actually works throughout the whole space too, which matters if you’re trying to get work done.

The check-in was refreshingly straightforward – no hovering desk clerk, just clear instructions and everything worked exactly as described. I think what impressed me most was the attention to small stuff. Good hangers in the closet, enough outlets near the bed, blackout curtains that actually block light. The kind of details that make you think someone who travels regularly designed this place. Plus the building itself has character – it’s one of those early 1900s Prague buildings with high ceilings and original details, but updated enough that everything functions properly. That 8.9 rating makes sense to me – it’s not trying to be luxury, but it nails everything it promises to do.
