Honestly, I’ve stayed in places that claim to be “centrally located” and then you’re hiking twenty minutes to see anything worthwhile. Not here. The location score of 9.6 isn’t just marketing fluff — you’re genuinely a few minutes’ walk from Old Town Square, and the tram connections are right there when you need them. What I really appreciated was being able to duck back to the apartment between sightseeing without it feeling like a major expedition. Plus, there’s something nice about staying where locals actually live, not just in some tourist bubble.

The Space Itself

The room setup works really well, especially if you’re traveling as a couple — which makes sense given how much couples seem to love this place. There’s enough space to actually unpack and settle in, not just survive. The kitchen comes in handy too, particularly for breakfast or when you want to grab some Czech beer and cheese from the local shops and have a quiet evening in. I found myself using it more than I expected, actually. The whole place feels bright and airy, which is exactly what you want after spending hours wandering Prague’s sometimes narrow, shadowy streets.

What’s great about Nekázanka is that you get the best of both worlds — tourist attractions within walking distance, but also real Prague life happening around you. There are local cafes where you won’t hear a word of English, and the morning bread runs feel authentic rather than performative. The area doesn’t completely shut down at night either, so if you want to grab dinner late or find a decent bar, you’ve got options. I noticed quite a few locals using the same streets for their daily routines, which always feels like a good sign to me.

  La ubicacion del apartamento es muy buena, cerca de la estacion central de trenes de praga y cerca del centro, la mayoria del recorrido lo pude hacer caminando y solo use viajes en tranvia.

  El sitio está muy cómodo para pasar algunos días! La cocina está equipada con lo suficiente para poder hacer varias comidas en el apartamento, y el baño tiene un buen tamaño.
  Los dueños nos mandaron un mensaje al llegar para dejarnos información sobre qué hacer, qué comer, etc. y para asegurarse de que todo estaba bien y darnos un contacto para contactar en caso de que necesitáramos o pasara algo. También nos dejaron un mapa de la ciudad que nos fue muy útil!
  
  What could be improved: Hay cama para 5, pero sólo habían 4 sillas, entonces no podíamos sentarnos todas a comer juntas.

  Posizione eccezionale per raggiungere i principali punti di interesse della città a piedi e vicina alla stazione metro di Mustek (snodo di 2 linee). Appartamento confortevole e silenzioso con letti comodissimi. Cucina a disposizione con tutti elettrodomestici (lavatrice in bagno compresa).

  What could be improved: We were 5 persons in apartment and it was impossible to take bath for all of us in the same day, after 2-3 persons take a bath the water become cold. You have to wait 8-10 hours to gather hot water in the boiler.
