Here’s what I love about staying here — you’re literally in the heart of Prague, not some tourist interpretation of it. Havelská Market is right outside your door (it’s one of the oldest markets in the city, by the way), and you can walk to Prague Castle, Charles Bridge, or Wenceslas Square without breaking a sweat. The couples who stay here consistently rate the location 9.9 out of 10, and honestly, I get it. You know those hotels where you have to take three trams just to see anything interesting? This isn’t one of them.

The Room Experience

The rooms here are what I’d call “smart comfortable” — they’re not trying to be overly fancy, but everything works exactly as it should. Each room has been designed with actual travelers in mind, not just Instagram photos. The beds are genuinely comfortable (I’m picky about this), and the bathrooms are modern without being sterile. What really impressed me was the attention to soundproofing — even though you’re in the middle of everything, you can actually sleep at night.

Daily Life at the Hotel

The staff here seems to understand that people want genuine recommendations, not just the standard tourist traps. They’ll point you toward that little wine bar around the corner that locals actually frequent, or tell you the best time to visit the market downstairs when it’s not completely packed. The hotel doesn’t have a full restaurant, but honestly, with Prague’s incredible food scene literally at your doorstep, you don’t really need one. There’s a breakfast area that serves a solid continental spread — nothing revolutionary, but it gets the job done.

Look, Prague has plenty of hotels, but most of them either stick you in some soulless modern district or charge you a fortune for “historic charm” that feels more like a museum than a place to stay. BRIGHT Prague Havelská manages to give you the authentic Old Town experience without the pretension or the inflated prices.   What could be improved: The kitchen sink faucet only dribbles cold water and the hot water had Zero water coming out. Upon checking in Julia told my husband not to use the tub and when I read the instructions it says not to use it in case of a power outage. The washer works but the dryer does not. Julia tried to do it and the clothes were soaking wet. The tv did not work at all. Julia tried to get u tube to come up but nothing. So you have a massive screen and nothing worked. The entryway has a soft spot about 2-3’ wide that you can’t step on. We contacted booking and the management company and they offered 25.00. We were on a vacation and should not have to deal with all of these things. Certainly 25 euros doesn’t cover it. We left a day early it was just that bad. Beware. I bet these things are still an issue
