The moment I walked into this fifth-floor apartment on U Pergamenky, I actually felt like I could live here for a month – and I mean that in the best way possible. It’s one of those spots where someone clearly thought about what travelers actually need, not just what looks good in photos. The two bedrooms are genuinely spacious (I’ve stayed in Prague “apartments” that were basically glorified closets), and that balcony? Well, it’s not overlooking the Charles Bridge or anything dramatic, but you get this nice slice of neighborhood life below and decent morning light with your coffee.

Here’s the thing about this area that most people don’t realize – U Pergamenky sits in this sweet spot where you’re still properly in Prague, not stuck out in some soulless district, but you’re also not dealing with the tourist chaos of Old Town. I actually walked to Wenceslas Square in about 15 minutes, which honestly surprised me because the street feels so residential and quiet. The free parking situation is legitimately good too, and I say that as someone who’s circled Prague blocks for an hour looking for a spot. There’s something refreshing about a place that just… works without drama. The building itself has that solid, no-nonsense Czech apartment feel – thick walls, so you’re not hearing every conversation from next door, decent elevator that doesn’t make you question your life choices.

What really sells me on this place is how it handles the little stuff that can make or break a stay. The kitchen actually has everything you need if you want to cook (I made pasta one night and didn’t have to improvise with a butter knife as a spatula), the wifi doesn’t cut out every twenty minutes, and the beds are properly comfortable – not just “hotel acceptable.” I mean, with a 9.6 rating, you expect things to work well, but sometimes highly rated places are all style and no substance. This feels more like staying at a friend’s well-organized apartment, if your friend happened to be really good at hosting. The only minor thing I’d mention is that it’s a fifth-floor walk-up situation when the elevator’s being serviced, but honestly, that’s pretty standard for Prague and the elevator worked fine during my stay. If you’re looking for something that feels more like a temporary home base than a tourist pit stop, and you don’t need to be literally on top of every major sight, this place just makes sense.

  Every thing was super, from the owner to how clean and safe the apartment is, the location was great if you have a car the garage is under the ground, if I am coming back to prague I would definitely book is apartment again (really recommend it )

  The apartment is very clean. I really like the self service to check in at any time. Because I drive my own car, the garage is safe to park the car. In addition the supermarket is just 6 minutes away. If I would visit Prague again in the future, I would stay here again! Highly recommend

  Wszystko zgodnie z opisem. Dobrze wyposażone mieszkanie, wygodne i ładne. Wszędzie było czysto i schludnie. Przyjechaliśmy do Pragi autem i korzystaliśmy z miejsca parkingowego w garażu podziemnym, blisko windy. Do stacji metra Nadrazi Holesovice spacerkiem jest 10 minut, Polecam to miejsce.

  Чудові затишні апартаменти. Хороший господар. Все детально пояснив. Великий підземний паркінг, що дуже зручно. З паркінгу ліфт.
  Посуду достатньо, є все необхідне. Залишилися дуже задоволені. Шкода, що не могли лишитися на довше.

  Um Prag zu erkunden war das Apartment super geeignet. Wir waren mit unsere beiden Kindern hier im Alter von 17 und 14 Jahren für 4 Nächte. Die beiden haben auf der aufklappbaren Couch geschlafen und fanden es sehr bequem. Auch unser Doppelbett war in Ordnung. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet.
  Alles war sauber. Metro,Tram sowie der Supermarkt sind gut erreichbar.
  Ein großer Pluspunkt ist auch der Garagenplatz.
  Die Komunikation zum Vermieter war sehr,sehr gut.
  
  What could be improved: In der Küche hätten wir uns mehr Tassen und einen Schneebesen gewünscht. Eine Kaffeemaschine eignet sich mit drei Kaffee-Trinkern besser als Kapsel Maschinen. Das sind aber Kleinigkeiten bei denen man improvisieren kann.

  Ubytování mělo k dispozici parkovací místo a poloha je blízko tramvajové zastávky. Zároveň byl byt nově zařízen, obsahoval všechny nezbytnosti od pračky, fénu a žehličky.
