You know what really caught me off guard about this place? The moment I stepped onto that 8th-floor balcony, I actually forgot I was in the middle of Prague for a second. The light flooding in through those windows is something else – I mean, they named it “Bright 2BR” for a reason, but honestly, I wasn’t expecting it to feel this airy and open when you’re basically in the heart of the city.

The thing about staying on U Pergamenky is that you’re tucked into this quieter pocket of Prague 7, which locals will tell you is where you want to be if you actually want to sleep at night. I’ve stayed in Old Town before – mistake. Here, you get that perfect sweet spot where you can walk to Letná Park in about ten minutes (great for morning runs, by the way), but you’re not dealing with the tourist chaos. The free parking is clutch too, which anyone who’s tried to park in Prague will appreciate – I watched some poor guy circle the block for twenty minutes looking for a spot while I was already upstairs unpacking.

What really sold me on this place was how it felt like an actual apartment, not some sterile hotel room. The kitchen is properly equipped – I made coffee there every morning instead of hunting down cafes, though there’s this excellent little bakery on Dělostřelecká if you walk toward the river. The two bedrooms work perfectly if you’re traveling with friends or family; the walls are thick enough that you’re not hearing every conversation from the next room. Actually, the whole building is surprisingly quiet for Prague – you get some tram sounds during the day, but it’s that gentle city hum that somehow helps you sleep better, not the jarring stuff that keeps you up. The 9.5 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there a few days. It’s those little touches that add up – decent water pressure (huge win), blackout curtains that actually work, and honestly, the balcony becomes your favorite spot by day three. I spent way too many evenings out there with a beer from the Tesco down the street, watching the sunset hit the rooftops. If you’re the type who needs to be right in Wenceslas Square, this might feel a bit removed, but if you want to experience Prague like you’re living there temporarily rather than just passing through, this spot gets it right.

  Lepo in čisto stanovanje, idealno za 5 člansko družino. Ima vse, kar smo potrebovali in res smo se počutili odlično. Postaja tramvaja je blizu, prednost je tudi parkirno mesto v garaži v kleti bloka. Priporočam.

  Понравилось всё, в 10 минутах ходьбы от метро, в апартаментах есть все условия для проживания, квартира чистая, уютная, теплая.
  Имеется вся необходимая бытовая техника, посуда, столовые приборы. Во дворе продуктовый магазин, кафе.

  Privater abgesicherter Parkplatz in der Tiefgarage mit direktem Zugang in das Gebäude.
  Wohnung liegt im obersten Stockwerk eines Gebäudes mit vielen Wohneinheiten. Moderne und praktische Ausstattung, sehr hell mit großen Fenstern und trotzdem warm während Temperaturen unter 0 Grad. Abflüsse der Waschbecken und Warmwasser funktionieren hervorragend.
  Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel (Straßenbahn oder U-Bahn) in 5-10 min zu Fuß erreichbar. In spätestens 20 min sind sie in der Altstadt und in 30 min am Wunschort.
  Dominik (& Team) sind immer kurzfristig kontaktier- und erreichbar.
  
  What could be improved: Von Anfang an gab es ein unangenehmes Geruch im Badezimmer (wahrscheinlich vom Abwasser oder von der Abluftleitung). Immer wenn wir die Badezimmertür geöffnet haben oder von außen in die Wohnung kamen stürmte dies in unsere Nasen. Dominik hat zwar angeboten Fachleute dafür zu schicken, aber da wir tagsüber die Stadt erkunden wollten hat dies uns nicht gepasst.
  Für eine Wohnung die bis zu 6 Personen geeignet ist wäre eine Filterkaffeemaschine angebrachter als eine Kapselmaschine. Etwas Vielfalt in den Teesorten, einige Gewürze und Kleinigkeiten wie z.B. Speiseöl, Essig oder Balsamico könnten für den ersten Abend der Ankunft lebensrettend sein. Am Tag danach ist man als Selbstversorger dann meistens besser dran.

  Відпочивали родиною : дуже чисто і затишно, гарний свіжий ремонт. Власник постійно на контакті. Власне паркомісце в закритому паркінгу. В квартирі є все необхідне, як бонус кавомашина і кава 🙂 біля будинку зупинка всіх трамваїв щоб зручно і швидко добратись до памʼяток в старому місці ! Дякую Власникам !
