Brand New Apartments Overview

You know what struck me first about Brand New Apartments? The name’s actually pretty accurate – this place genuinely feels fresh and modern, not like those “newly renovated” spots that just slapped some paint over old problems. It’s tucked away on Ke Štvanici, which honestly took me a minute to find the first time (GPS gets a bit wonky in this part of Prague), but once you’re there, you realize the slightly hidden location is actually perfect.

The thing about this area is that you’re basically on Štvanice Island – I mean, it’s not some tropical paradise or anything, but it’s this cool little spot between the old town and newer districts that most tourists completely miss. You’ve got the Štvanice Stadium right there, so if there’s a tennis tournament or concert happening, it gets lively, but most of the time it’s surprisingly quiet for being so close to everything. I could actually sleep with the windows cracked open, which is saying something for Prague. The apartments themselves live up to that 4-star rating – clean lines, decent kitchenettes that you’ll actually want to use, and bathrooms that don’t make you feel like you’re camping. What I really appreciated was the attention to small stuff: good water pressure, blackout curtains that actually block light, and Wi-Fi that works in every corner (I’m one of those people who tests it immediately).

Here’s the local knowledge part that matters – you’re about a 15-minute walk to Wenceslas Square if you cut through the right streets, but more importantly, you’re close to some fantastic neighborhood spots that locals frequent. There’s this little bakery on Těšnov that opens crazy early and makes these incredible koláče, and honestly, starting your morning there beats any hotel breakfast buffet. The 8.2 rating feels right to me – it’s not going to blow your mind with luxury, but everything works like it should, the staff actually seems to care about their jobs, and you get that “living in Prague” feeling rather than just visiting. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle if you’re driving (street spots fill up fast), but there’s a garage nearby that won’t completely destroy your budget. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if I wanted to explore beyond the main tourist circuit.

Early hotels booking in Prague is essential during major events like the Prague Spring Festival, as accommodations fill up quickly with visitors eager to experience the city’s renowned classical music scene and Gothic architecture.

Reviews of Brand New Apartments

  • Good location, fully equipped apartment. – Tan from Vietnam – 26 June 2025 (9/10)

Location is good, next to Praha 1. Praha 8 also has many restaurants at a better cost.
The apartment is fully equipped except for the microwave, which I might not notice when booked.

What could be improved: No microwave.
Beds are fine, but the bedsheets are rough.

  • Superb – Igor from Poland – 8 June 2025 (9/10)

Well-commuted, very clean, easy Access to flat and helpfull Staff as well as accomodation.

What could be improved: At this standard shower gel and couple of teatr bags or instant coffees should be given. Think about it as it does not cost a lot but makes a day.

  • Very good – Kimberly from Slovakia – 20 May 2025 (8/10)

the place is very clean and looks really new.

What could be improved: location is quite far from the center but close to the metro, that having said. We sometime felt uncomfortable with the surroundings specially during the nights.

  • Good for night stop off – Amanda from United Kingdom – 7 May 2025 (7/10)

The apartment was spacious and clean

What could be improved: Had to contact regwrding entry as was in the countey on buisness and signal wasnt great

If could do with some pictures on the wall as was like a hospital room which made it very unhomly.

Around 4 in the morning was noisey from people returning to area but was so warm in apartment we had to have windows open. Maybe a fan could be provided and a tv was ok for 1 night any longer would be a harder stay

    Pillows were way to soft

  • Very good – Elizabeth from United Kingdom – 8 April 2025 (8/10)

Great location, apartment super spacious and clean, loads of places to buy food nearby, great transport as well. The only thing I didn't realise was that the room didn't have dark curtains, and I woke up with the light, but with a sleeping mask is ok 🙂

  • Communicatin was excellent. Allowed to check in early as our flight was an early morning one. – Val from Ireland – 1 January 2025 (8/10)

  • A great stay. – Marvin from United States – 9 December 2024 (9/10)

Clean spacious and not expensive. Less than a block to the tram, busses, and subway. The grocery store is also just around the corner.

    Manager, Waseem, was very helpful!

  • Worth the money – Ben from United Kingdom – 25 October 2024 (9/10)

    The location

What could be improved: We were getting bitten in the apartment
