Boutique Residence by Little King

Location location!!

The property has an excellent location. Rooms are comfortable.

What could be improved: I liked everything

Central, in the thick of everything, beautiful building, great rooms and great value for money

Extremely central. Opposite Fat Cat Beerhouse. This is great for being in the centre of things, but there was a downside which we'll share below.
Very nice building, well organised check-in system.
Comfortable bed, excellent shower, lovely fluffy white towels, extremely clean, high ceilings, place to work at a desk and all rooms had fans.
Lovely touch was the L'Occitane soap and shampoo in the shower and bathroom.
There is a kitchen area on the second floor which was great and can use microwave, so nice area to have your own breakfast if staying a few days. There was also a reading alcove on 1st floor which I used for phone calls to get out of the room while husband had a meeting. The internet service was great even with the thick walls and I managed calls to Australia on WhatsApp sitting in the armchairs in the reading alcove. Really nice experience staying here.

What could be improved: We generally need aircon, as we like a cool room. Our colleague found the Little King Residence and booked first, so we followed without looking at our usual requirements. The fan in the room helped, but if we opened the window at all then the raucous fun being had by groups of pissed people at Fat Cat Beerhouse opposite was quite intrusive. Saying that, we knew we were booking something central and so we should have been ready for the noise. We're in our 50s and generally, we just like a quieter option, so next time we'll request to be in one of the Little King's other properties as our colleague ended up there and said it was quiet and lovely.

Location clean friendly staff

What could be improved: Hair dryer didn't work, shower didn't stay up, no view out the window

Very gpod for a weekend trip.

Good location, clean. Very easy to check in and check out.

What could be improved: Noisy. We could hear the streets as widow quality was poor.

Superb

The location is close to all the major spots. The facilities are super clean, smells really good and fresh. And it’s really comfortable and cosy inside the room.

What could be improved: A bit noisy outside but manageable since it’s a busy area.

A good place for the fit and young.

The location was central. The bathroom products of high quality. The shared kitchen was useful.

What could be improved: The stairs were difficult for an older couple, creaky and no handrails at the top. The room was very small with a sloping ceiling causing many head bumps.
Didn’t like the electronic check in, lack of personal contact. Nicest person was the cleaner.
Noisy party goers until early hours.

Superb

It was conveniently located and the bed was very comfortable.

What could be improved: The very loud noise from young people very late at night. Sound dampening windows would be useful.
