You know what? I walked past Boutique Hotel Constans probably a dozen times before I actually noticed it tucked away on Bretislavova Street. It’s one of those places that doesn’t scream for attention – which, honestly, is exactly what makes it so good. The building itself has this understated elegance that feels authentically Prague without trying too hard, if that makes sense.

What really struck me was how the staff actually seemed to know the neighborhood. I mean, when I asked about getting to Wenceslas Square, the guy at reception didn’t just point me toward the obvious tourist route – he mentioned this little shortcut through the park that locals use, and how the morning light hits the statues just right if you’re an early riser. The rooms have this perfect balance of modern comfort and old-world character. The beds are seriously comfortable (I’m picky about mattresses), and there’s enough space to actually unpack without feeling like you’re living out of a suitcase. The bathrooms are well-designed too – good water pressure, which you can’t always count on in historic buildings around here.

Location-wise, you’re in this sweet spot where you can walk to the major sights without being right in the middle of all the tourist chaos. Bretislavova is quiet enough that you’ll actually sleep well, but you’re maybe ten minutes from all the action around Old Town. There’s a great little café just around the corner that serves proper Czech breakfast – the kind of place where you’ll see office workers grabbing their morning coffee, not just tourists. Parking can be tricky in this part of Prague (honestly, it’s tricky everywhere), but they’ll help you figure it out. The whole experience feels less like staying at a hotel and more like having a really well-connected friend who happens to have a gorgeous place in the city center. With a 9.4 rating, it’s clearly not just me who feels this way – but somehow it still doesn’t feel overrun or overhyped. It’s the kind of place you’d want to keep as your little secret, except it’s too good not to share.

  Everything was excellent,the location is the best possible to get,the room is extra spacious,clean and comfortable.The breakfast is fabulous and the host Jan was fantastic,very helpful,really extra ordinary man.So this hotel has all my recomendation.The best value place in whole Prague and we're certainly gonna be back!   What could be improved: There is nothing to say about this topic.Maybe the lack of some facilities but for the hotel which is not so big this is not disadvantage.We have no anything bad to say.Just keep on going as it is now!

  The rooms are very big, with everything you need. The location is excellent, very close to the famous bridge and the castle. In a very quiet street but 2 minutes from restaurants and bars. Breakfast was very good

  The room is large and clean. it has a bath tub. Workers are very nice and helpful. When I had troubles, they helped a lot. Especially, Mr Jan, thanks a lot. 5minutes to tram and bus. 8min to famous bridge. The atmosphere of outside path is very romantic. Breakfast is very delicious. It has something different every day.

  Beautiful hotel. The room was very big, as was the bathroom. Breakfast had great choices. Convient to walk to everywhere. Highly recommended.

  We had a great weekend stay. Our room was large, the bed huge, everything was very clean and the staff were all super friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a substantial breakfast and loved being on a quiet street that was a short walk from the Charles Bridge and the castle. There was also a tram stop close by if we wanted to explore further afield.

  We liked absolutely everything about our stay at Boutique Hotel Constans. Beautiful and charming hotel with spacious, clean and very comfortable rooms. Abundant and yummy breakfast, central yet very quiet location. Last but not least I have to give our massive thanks to the friendly and caring staff who made us feel welcome and made our stay extra special!!
