Overview

First Impressions

Walking up to Bouquet Apartments on Příčná Street, you immediately get that “I’m in the real Prague” feeling. This four-star property sits right in the heart of the city — and I mean the actual heart, not some tourist-trap version of it. The building has that classic Central European charm you’d expect, but what really struck me was how quiet this little street feels despite being so central. You know what’s funny? Couples absolutely rave about this location, giving it a 9.2 rating, and honestly, I get it.

Location & Getting Around

Here’s the thing about staying on Příčná — you’re literally steps away from everything that matters in Prague’s Old Town, but you’re tucked away enough that you won’t be dealing with crowds of tourists stumbling past your window at midnight. I could walk to the Astronomical Clock in about five minutes, and the Charles Bridge was maybe a seven-minute stroll. The nearest tram stop is practically around the corner, which is perfect if you want to explore beyond the historic center. Actually, I found myself walking everywhere because the location is just that good.

The Apartment Experience

What I really appreciated about my apartment was how it felt like staying in someone’s actual Prague home rather than a sterile hotel room. The space was thoughtfully designed — not huge, but cleverly laid out so everything felt comfortable. The kitchen was properly equipped (I mean, you can actually cook a real meal here), and there’s something satisfying about picking up fresh bread from a local bakery and having your morning coffee at the little dining table. The windows looked out onto the quiet street, and I loved watching locals go about their daily routines.

Practical Details

The staff here actually know the neighborhood — they gave me recommendations that felt genuine rather than rehearsed. When I asked about a good local restaurant, they pointed me toward this tiny place two blocks away that I never would have found otherwise. The building itself is well-maintained, and while there’s no fancy lobby or concierge desk, everything works exactly as it should. WiFi was solid (important for staying connected), and the heating kept things cozy during my October visit when Prague was getting properly chilly.

Why Guests Love It

Look, if you want a massive hotel with a spa and room service, this isn’t your place. But if you want to feel like you’re actually living in Prague for a few days — waking up in a real neighborhood, grabbing coffee from the corner café, walking to dinner through cobblestone streets — then Bouquet Apartments nails it. The location score of 9.2 isn’t just a number; it reflects how perfectly positioned you are to experience the city like locals do. I found myself extending my stay by a day just because leaving felt like saying goodbye to a temporary Prague life I’d grown attached to.

Great budget apartment for exploring Prague

This property was ideal for visiting all the sights that Prague has to offer as it was only a 15-20 minute walk to the old town and around 30 minutes to Charles bridge. The apartment was tidy and clean. Would recommend

What could be improved: The beds was on the hard side, but wasn’t a massive issue for me personally, the shower was fine but was on the small side. The TV didn’t seem to work.
