Bouquet Apartments Overview
I’ll be honest – when I first walked up to Bouquet Apartments on Příčná Street, I almost missed it entirely. It’s tucked away on this narrow side street that most tourists never notice, which honestly turned out to be one of its best features. You know how Prague 1 can get absolutely swamped with tour groups and street performers? Well, step onto Příčná and suddenly you’re in this pocket of calm that feels like you’ve discovered something the guidebooks forgot to mention.
The building itself has that understated Czech charm – nothing flashy, but solid in that way that makes you think it’ll outlast whatever trendy boutique hotel opens next month. What really got me was how the owner (I think his name was Pavel?) actually remembered my name after checking in, and he wasn’t just being polite about it either. He genuinely seemed to care that I found the place okay and warned me about the construction happening two blocks over – the kind of local intel you’d never get from some massive chain. The apartments themselves are what I’d call “thoughtfully simple.” The kitchenette actually works (I made coffee every morning and cooked pasta twice), the WiFi doesn’t cut out every ten minutes like half the places I’ve stayed in Prague, and the shower has proper water pressure. I mean, these might sound like basic things, but you’d be surprised how many places mess up the fundamentals.
Here’s what really sold me on the location – you’re literally a five-minute walk from Wenceslas Square, but when you head back to Příčná in the evening, it’s quiet enough that you can actually sleep with the windows cracked open. During the day, there’s this little bakery around the corner where locals grab their morning coffee (not the tourist-trap places with English menus), and if you walk the other direction toward Národní Street, you hit some of the best traditional pubs in the city. The tram connections are solid too – I never waited more than a few minutes, and you can get pretty much anywhere in Prague without dealing with the metro crowds. One small thing that might matter depending on your travel style: there’s no elevator, so if you’re hauling heavy luggage and end up on the third floor, well… consider it part of the Prague experience. Also, the street can get a bit lively on Friday nights with people heading to the bars nearby, but nothing that earplugs can’t handle. For a 3-star place with an 8 rating, Bouquet Apartments gets the balance right – it’s not trying to be something it isn’t, but what it does, it does well. Sometimes that’s exactly what you need.

This property was ideal for visiting all the sights that Prague has to offer as it was only a 15-20 minute walk to the old town and around 30 minutes to Charles bridge. The apartment was tidy and clean. Would recommend
What could be improved: The beds was on the hard side, but wasn’t a massive issue for me personally, the shower was fine but was on the small side. The TV didn’t seem to work.Good location and confortable place to stay in Prague – María from Spain – 7 May 2025 (8/10)

Facilities excellent, really clean, location perfect really easy to walk everywhere. The only with is that the individual bed was a bit uncomfortable. It’s a shame because apart from the bed was excellent our stay.
