You’re floating on the Vltava with unobstructed water views, but Smíchov district puts you close enough to walk to major attractions. I mean, you can catch tram 12 or 20 right nearby, and suddenly you’re at Prague Castle or Wenceslas Square. What I love is that you get this peaceful, almost countryside feeling at night when the river gets quiet, but during the day Prague is right there waiting for you.

The Room Experience

The room I stayed in was compact but thoughtfully designed — they’ve really maximized the space without making it feel cramped. The windows open right onto the water, which creates this gentle rocking motion that’s actually quite soothing (though if you’re prone to seasickness, maybe consider that). What struck me was how quiet it gets at night despite being on a river in a major city. The beds are comfortable enough, and honestly, the novelty of sleeping on water never really wore off during my stay.

Practical Perks

Here’s something that surprised me — they have parking right on site, which is gold in Prague where finding a spot can be a nightmare. The staff mentioned they get tons of repeat guests, and after staying there, I get why. It’s not just the unique factor; they’ve sorted out the practical stuff too. The restaurant serves decent Czech food with river views, though I’d recommend exploring the neighborhood for dinner — Smíchov has some great local spots that most tourists miss.

  Check in was very easy, reception very helpful. Our room was spacious for 3 people. Access from the airport very easy on public transport. Seeing the sights easily to access via the nearby public transport. There were restaurants and fast food places within very short walking distance.
  
  What could be improved: There was a party in the restaurant which was no problem, until people/children running on the deck which is the roof of the cabin. The party was finished by midnight.

  What could be improved: Rooms are not soundproof. I could hear a very loud elevator or other guests from the rooms next to me.
  Room was cold even when I had my heating on the maximum. I guess the air is somehow coming inside and windows are not airtight.
  A bedside lamp would be nice.

  The room was spacious and cozy, the staff was polite. The view is great. The breakfast is extremely good, it's worth staying here just for that.

  Staff where fabulous.. Room was fantastic and I personally found that is was very quiet and peaceful.. Breakfast was included there was plenty to choose from.. Definitely my go too place to stay in future trips to Prague..
  
  What could be improved: That deck bar or restaurant bar was not open would of been nice to sit on deck in evening with a drink..
  Would also of been nice to have a kettle in room…

  Beautiful and unexpected place. In the centre but hidden. Very tasty breakfast, good coffee, good music in the morning, good heating, amazing view.
  
  What could be improved: Old wallpapers, rust on the plumbing, old aluminum frames on the windows, foam on the ceiling in the bathroom, clogged drains, broken shower holder, poorly sealed joints between the tiles in the toilet, the first floor smells like cats. Bad juice and staind fish in the breakfast room, thin walls. It was lacking the kettle in the room.

  It's just nice to be on a ship. Feeling of adventure and travel. There is a very kind receptionist. The room is comfy, clean, big enough, with heating, functional bathroom. The breakfast was very rich with choice of lots of delicious things and coffee machine. View from the breakfast room to Vyšehrad.
  
  What could be improved: It was a quite smelly in the corridors. The carpects there need cleaning.

  What could be improved: Need a bit updating but not a big issue. It would be nice to have a coffee or tea facility in the room.

  location is great for exploring. boat was fun to stay on and enjoyed being woken up in the morning by the sound of ducks on the river. liked the quirky decor inside and the fish tank.
