BoHo Prague Hotel – Small Luxury Hotels Overview
You know what struck me first about BoHo Prague? It’s tucked on Senovážná Street in a way that feels completely intentional – like someone actually thought about where to put a boutique hotel instead of just grabbing whatever building was available. I mean, you’re literally a three-minute walk from Wenceslas Square, but somehow you’ve escaped all that tourist chaos. The street itself has this lovely mix of locals heading to work and travelers who clearly did their homework.
The lobby honestly feels more like walking into someone’s really well-designed apartment than a hotel. There’s this warm, slightly bohemian vibe (hence the name, I suppose) with carefully chosen furniture that actually looks comfortable, not just Instagram-ready. The staff genuinely seems to know Prague – not just the obvious stuff, but they’ll point you toward that little wine bar on Vinohrady that doesn’t even have a sign, or mention which tram to take to avoid the crowds at the castle. Check-in was refreshingly quick, though I’d suggest arriving after 2 PM since they take their cleaning standards seriously.
What really sets this place apart is how they’ve nailed that sweet spot between boutique character and actual functionality. The rooms aren’t huge – this is Prague’s city center, after all – but everything feels deliberately placed. The beds are proper comfortable (I’m picky about this), and the bathrooms have those rainfall showers that actually work well, not just look pretty. You’ll hear some street noise if you’re facing Senovážná, but it’s more “lively European city” than “construction site at dawn.” The quieter rooms face the courtyard, if that’s your preference.
They’ve got this small bar area that becomes the perfect spot for a nightcap – locals actually drink there too, which tells you something. The breakfast situation is solid without being over-the-top fancy; proper coffee, fresh pastries from a nearby bakery, and they’ll make eggs however you want them. I appreciated that they source things locally rather than flying in exotic fruit that tastes like cardboard.
Location-wise, you’re spoiled for choice. Národní třída is right there for serious shopping, the Jewish Quarter is an easy walk, and you can catch the metro at Muzeum without dealing with the absolute madness at the main station. If you’re planning to explore beyond the center, the tram connections are excellent – though honestly, you might find yourself just wandering the neighborhood since there’s always something interesting happening on the side streets.
The 9.5 rating makes complete sense once you’ve stayed here. It’s not trying to be the flashiest place in Prague, but rather the kind of spot where everything just works smoothly. The kind of hotel where you’d actually want to hang out in the lobby with a book, or where you don’t mind coming back early because your room feels like a proper retreat. For a four-star place, it punches well above its weight – probably because they focused on getting the details right instead of adding unnecessary bells and whistles.

Very nice hotel. would stay again. I was greeted with a free welcome drink.
What could be improved: the pillows were too thick and the internet cut in and out a lotDimitar from Moldova – 24 March 2025 (10/10)
The breakfast was excellent, with a great variety and fresh options every morning. The spa facilities were also very good — clean, relaxing, and well-maintained. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable experience. I would definitely come back!

The staff was hands down one of the best I've ever encountered. From the moment we checked in, and were fortunate enough to have Jiri (George), helping us. He gave us the most thorough rundown of the property I've ever had, plus offered to book anything or make any reservations that we would like. He then took us to the room and showed us all the highlights and went back to being our bags a few minutes later. A genuinely wonderful man. Another highlight was the bartender (also named Jiri.) He was quiet and kind, but the more we got to know him he kept getting better and better. He helped me with my Czech, recommended places to go and things to try. He was like having a local, built in friend.
The hotel is in a fabulous location- close to Old Town Square- maybe a 10 minute walk. Also 5 minutes from Palladium mall, and 10 minutes or less from the train station. Similarly, 10 minutes from New Town and probably about a 20 minutes walk from the Dancing House. There is a fantastic coffee shop called Edison that has the best coffee I got in all of Prague. Apparently it's a movie theater too- but I only had the coffee. There is a hot tub and sauna at the hotel, which was a nice addition. There is pretty much around the clock access to self made coffee, small pastries, and lemon water in a library on-site too. I forgot to mention the tub- it was spectacular. Very hot water if you like- and very long tub. If I am lucky enough to return to Prague, I will stay at this property again.
What could be improved: The hot tub was not "hot" during our visit. Just warm- but still relaxing. The light in the bathroom was difficult to figure out how to turn off. Also if a family chose the room I was in- it would be very awkward in that there are tinted glass partitions where not much is left to the imagination. Breakfast was just okay.Eva from United Kingdom – 25 February 2025 (10/10)
I booked Boho for my partner’s birthday for a long weekend and had such a fantastic experience.
We were welcomed with a drink on arrival and free water and pastries in the library throughout the day. The staff were so accommodating especially considering the fact it was a special occasion, and they were extremely helpful.
The room was large and spacious and my request to have the room set up with surprises with a budget that went a long way with Prosecco, chocolate strawberries, balloons, and other treats.
The location was great with the Old Town being around a 10 minute walk, we walked everywhere during our stay and found the hotel to be in a great location.
I would absolutely stay here again.Henry from United Kingdom – 25 February 2025 (10/10)
