You know what caught me off guard about Bohemian Dreams? The name actually fits – and I mean that in the best way possible. Most hotels with “bohemian” in the title are trying way too hard, but this place on Záhřebská has this effortless, lived-in charm that feels genuinely Prague. The building itself is one of those beautiful turn-of-the-century structures that makes you slow down on the sidewalk, and honestly, the location is kind of perfect if you want to feel like you’re staying in a real neighborhood instead of tourist central.

I’ve walked down Záhřebská probably fifty times over the years, and it’s one of those streets that locals use as a shortcut between Vinohrady and the city center – which means you’re getting authentic Prague life right outside your window, but without the constant stream of tour groups. The apartments here (and they really do feel like apartments, not hotel rooms) have these high ceilings and original details that remind you you’re in a city with serious architectural history. The suites are spacious in a way that’s rare for Prague accommodations – I mean, you can actually unpack your suitcase and spread out, which is… refreshing. Some units have these great big windows that let in tons of light, though fair warning, if you’re a super light sleeper, you might hear the trams in the early morning. It’s not loud, just part of the Prague soundtrack.

What I really appreciate about this place is how they’ve managed the whole apartment-hotel hybrid thing without making it feel corporate. The kitchenettes are actually functional (not just a mini-fridge and a prayer), and there’s something satisfying about being able to grab fresh bread from the bakery around the corner and make your own coffee in the morning. The staff knows the neighborhood – like, really knows it – so when they recommend that little wine bar three blocks over or tell you which tram gets you to Old Town fastest, they’re not reading from some script. The 8.9 rating makes sense when you stay here; it’s not trying to be a luxury palace, but it nails what it is trying to be. You’re close enough to walk to Wenceslas Square when you want the tourist stuff, but far enough away that you can come home to actual quiet streets lined with local pubs and small shops. It’s the kind of place where you end up staying longer than planned because you’ve accidentally found your temporary Prague neighborhood.

  We like all that there is in our accommodation, from perfect location to kitchen stuff, to coffee and tea facilities, to cooking oil, salt and utensils. We especially like the shampoo and soap provided in the lavatory. Everything actually was beyond our expectation.

  When we stayed in this apartment last time, I wrote "I want to get here again", and now we got here for the second time. Everything was great, very clean, well equipped kitchen, nice bathroom. Outside there were quiet streets with beautiful architecture and cozy beer halls, and at the same time, two metro stations were within walking distance. It was very easy to contact the administration. I recommend this apartment!!!

  It's a very recommended place. The apartment is big, comfortable, and has everything.
  The beds and pillows are big and comfortable, the wardrobes are big and the bedroom is spacious.
  The kitchen has a kettle, microwave, and coffee machine and it's well-equipped, including some amenities.
  The bathroom is big and comfortable, and they provide shower gel.
