You know what struck me first about the Bohéme Apartment? It’s actually got character in a city where so many places are trying too hard to be boutique-y. The building sits right on Opletalova, which honestly sounds intimidating when you’re navigating Prague’s tongue-twisting street names, but it’s basically a stone’s throw from Wenceslas Square without being right in the tourist chaos.

I mean, calling it an “apartment” is pretty accurate – this feels more like staying in someone’s well-appointed flat than a typical hotel room. The spaces have that lived-in quality that’s hard to fake, with decent-sized windows that actually open (something you don’t always get in Prague’s older buildings). The neighborhood’s got this great morning rhythm where you’ll hear locals heading to work before the tour groups descend on the square. There’s a little tram stop practically outside your door, and I actually preferred taking the tram to walking some days – Prague’s cobblestones are gorgeous but brutal on your feet after hours of wandering.

What really sold me on this place was how it sits in that sweet spot between convenient and authentic. You’re close enough to duck back for an afternoon nap between sightseeing (which, let’s be honest, you’ll need), but far enough from the main drag that you’re not dealing with hen parties stumbling past your window at 2 AM. The staff knows the area inside and out – they pointed me toward this little bakery on Jindřišská that I never would’ve found otherwise, and their coffee recommendations were spot-on. Sure, it’s a 3-star place and you can tell in some of the finishes, but the bones are solid and everything works like it should. The WiFi actually handled my work calls without dropping, which can’t be said for some fancier places I’ve stayed. Prague gets pretty packed during summer and around Christmas, but even then this area doesn’t feel completely overrun – you still get glimpses of regular Prague life happening around you.

  Lovely apartment as advertised. Location was great and very walkable to the main square in Old Town. Close to the main station. Host was great and communication was excellent. Check in easy! Great stay!

  The location is perfect close to the train station and in the middle of the centre. You can walk easy to all the highlights.
  The appartement was good with a very comfortable bed and nice and clean bathroom. The kitchen can be better (fridge is too cold or ice melting, silverware and glasses were not all well cleaned)
  
  What could be improved: The stuff in the kitchen wasn't well cleaned. Some glasses were still dirty with old drinks.
  The fridge was more an freezer cause our drinks were ice after a night. So we put it a bit down and then all the ice melts and lots of water inside the fridge

  What could be improved: There was no email from the owner in respect to obtaining keys. My husband and I are travelling and corresponding by email as we are not using any international mobile phones to correspond.

  Great & convenient location – near to the main street, couple minutes walk to the national museum, 10-15 min walk to the old town. The apartment is clean, beautifully decorated and has double glazing windows which makes it soundproof. Good facilities – smart tv, ironing, hair dryer, toiletries, washing machine, large bed & fully equipped kitchen. Host was lovely and friendly.
  
  What could be improved: The bed is a bit on the hard side but we don’t mind. However, we would have preferred one large duvet rather than two single-sized duvets. The curtains do not cover across the entire window, which means you can’t have a black-out room. Kitchen utensils & cups are a bit dirty.

  Location was fantastic and it was quiet at night.
  
  What could be improved: It treads a fine line between shabby chic and just shabby. It did suit our needs (washing machine and kitchen) but it could have been cleaner.
  We had to buy loo roll and soap. And two towels for two people for 6 nights is unrealistic.

  The location is fantastic, situated right in the heart of Prague, with easy access to public transportation, shopping, and some of the city's most famous landmarks.
  Apartment was clean, elegantly designed, blending modern amenities with classic charm.
  The staff at Bohéme Apartments were incredibly welcoming and friendly.
