Black & White Apartment Prague by Wenceslas Square and Muzeum Overview

First Impressions

Walking into Black & White Apartment Prague by Wenceslas Square and Muzeum, you immediately get that this isn’t your typical hotel experience. It’s actually more like staying in a really well-designed Prague apartment that someone put serious thought into. The black and white theme isn’t just a gimmick — it creates this clean, sophisticated vibe that feels both modern and timeless. You know what struck me most? How quiet it was inside, despite being right in the thick of everything.

Location That Actually Matters

Here’s the thing about the location — it’s genuinely exceptional, and I mean that. You’re literally steps from Wenceslas Square, which honestly makes exploring Prague almost ridiculously easy. The National Museum is right there, and you can walk to Old Town Square in about ten minutes without breaking a sweat. What I really appreciated was having the metro station so close — you can get anywhere in the city without thinking twice about it. Couples seem to absolutely love this spot, and after staying here, I totally get why they rate it so highly.

The Space Itself

The room feels more spacious than you’d expect for central Prague. The black and white design scheme works really well — it’s not stark or cold, just clean and calming after a day of sightseeing. The kitchen setup is actually functional, not just for show, which is great if you want to grab some Czech pastries from the market and have coffee in the morning. Storage space is decent too, and the bathroom has this nice modern feel without being over the top. Everything feels thoughtfully planned rather than just thrown together.

What Makes It Work

This four-star property really nails the balance between hotel service and apartment independence. You get the privacy and space of having your own place, but with the reliability of professional management. The building itself has character — it’s one of those Prague buildings that makes you feel like you’re actually living in the city rather than just visiting it. I found myself using the space differently than a regular hotel room — actually hanging out there in the evenings instead of just sleeping and leaving.

Why Guests Love It

Honestly, it comes down to location and that apartment feel. You’re staying in the real heart of Prague, not some tourist bubble, but you still have all the comforts you need. The fact that couples consistently rave about this place tells you something — it’s romantic without trying too hard, and practical without being boring. For the price point and what you get, especially considering where you are in the city, it’s actually pretty solid value. You’ll spend less time figuring out transportation and more time just enjoying Prague, which is exactly what you want.

Reviews of Black & White Apartment Prague by Wenceslas Square and Muzeum

  • Good but with some mishaps. – Michael from United Kingdom – 15 June 2025 (7/10)

What could be improved: Fresh food froze in the fridge. I booked accommodation with a lift their "key" system doesn't allow for use of the lift on departure. That is a mistake and a massive oversight of the needs of guests.

  • Amazing – Roberta from Italy – 21 January 2025 (8/10)

    What could be improved: Nothing

  • Very good – Lynette from Australia – 28 December 2024 (8/10)

What could be improved: Missing instruction inside the apartment for wifi and how to work appliances. Later found password for Wifi in foyer.

  • This apartament had all we needed and more! – Katarzyna from Poland – 27 November 2024 (9/10)

Perfect spot for going into the city, near the subway, and near the best vegan restaurant/cafe which made our stay. Even though it's in the centre, the street is very quiet. We lacked for nothing, it's equipped with everything you need for a short visit (…when you can only fit so much in a carry on…). Highly recommend!

What could be improved: We loved it all except for the wonky mattress :)).
