You’re in New Town (Nové Město), which means you can walk to Old Town Square in about eight minutes, but you’re also surrounded by actual Prague life. There’s a fantastic local pub just around the corner that most tourists never find, and the morning coffee scene on nearby streets is incredible. You know what’s great? You can grab groceries at the Tesco just two blocks away, or if you’re feeling fancy, there’s a beautiful market hall within walking distance.

You’ve got a proper living area where you can spread out your maps and plan your day, plus a small kitchenette that’s perfect for making morning coffee or storing those amazing Czech pastries you’ll inevitably buy too many of. The bedroom feels spacious enough, and — this might sound silly — but the windows open properly, which is surprisingly rare in Prague’s city center. Everything’s clean and modern, though it keeps some of that Central European charm that makes staying here feel special.

Daily Life and Practicalities

Getting around from here is honestly effortless. The Můstek metro station is practically next door, connecting you to both lines A and B, so you can reach Prague Castle or Vinohrady without any hassle. If you’re driving (though I wouldn’t recommend it in this part of town), there’s parking available nearby, but honestly, you won’t need a car. The tram stops are close too, and walking is usually faster anyway. I love that you can stroll to a proper restaurant for dinner — there’s this amazing traditional Czech place about three minutes away that locals actually frequent.

That was enough for us.

  Everything is great. Spacious apartment in a beautiful historical building. A great breakfast is right on the opposite side of the road. Very close to all tourist attractions.

  Great location. Lots of space for a family of four. Helpful and professional hosts who organised an early check in and a complimentary mid/week cleaning service. Coffee machine with lots of pods was a nice touch and lasted us a whole week. Having a washing machine was also very useful.
  
  What could be improved: The central living area would benefit from a sofa. We didn’t want to sleep with ground floor windows open so it was a little warm at night.
