The hotel itself feels more like a well-run boutique property than your typical chain place. Check-in was refreshingly quick (I mean, they actually seemed happy to see guests), and the lobby has this understated elegance that doesn’t try too hard. Plus, and this might sound silly, but the staff genuinely seemed to know their neighborhood. When I asked about dinner recommendations, they didn’t just hand me a tourist brochure – they told me about the family-run Georgian restaurant two blocks over that locals actually go to. That kind of local knowledge is surprisingly rare these days.
