Overview

First Impressions

Walking up to Authentically stylish apartment with a mystical view GOLEM on U Starého Hřbitova, you immediately sense there’s something different about this place. The address itself — Old Cemetery Street — hints at the mysterious character that defines this four-star property. I mean, when a place calls itself “mystical” in the name, you’re either in for something special or complete disappointment. Honestly, this one delivers on its promise in ways I didn’t expect.

Location & Neighborhood

You know what’s remarkable about staying here? You’re literally in the heart of Prague, but tucked away on a quiet street that most tourists never discover. The Old Jewish Quarter surrounds you — actually, the famous Old Jewish Cemetery is practically your neighbor, which explains that “mystical view” they mention. From here, you can walk to Old Town Square in about five minutes, but when you return in the evening, it feels like stepping into a completely different world. The cobblestones, the ancient walls, the way shadows fall across the street — there’s an atmosphere here that’s hard to find anywhere else in the city.

The Apartment Experience

This isn’t your typical hotel room setup — it’s a full apartment that feels like someone’s carefully curated home rather than a rental property. The styling walks this interesting line between modern comfort and historical respect, if that makes sense. The kitchen is actually functional (not just for show), which matters when you want to grab groceries from the local markets and prepare something simple. What struck me most was how they’ve managed to create this sophisticated space without losing the building’s original character — exposed beams, original windows, details that remind you you’re staying in a piece of Prague’s history.

The Mystical Element

I was skeptical about the “mystical view” claim until I actually experienced it. Depending on your windows, you’re looking out over centuries-old rooftops, church spires, and yes — glimpses of that ancient cemetery. There’s something about the early morning light filtering through here, or the way evening settles over the old stones, that creates this almost otherworldly atmosphere. It’s not spooky or unsettling — more like you’re witnessing Prague the way it’s existed for hundreds of years, before the tourist crowds and modern distractions.

Why Couples Love It

The feedback about couples rating this place highly makes complete sense once you’ve stayed here. There’s an intimacy to the space and location that’s perfect for romantic getaways — you’re close enough to everything important, but far enough from the noise to actually connect with each other and the city. The apartment gives you privacy and space to breathe, while the neighborhood offers those spontaneous discoveries that make trips memorable. Plus, there’s something undeniably romantic about sharing coffee in that kitchen while looking out over medieval Prague, planning your day among the cobblestone streets and hidden courtyards that most visitors never find.

Travelers should reserve a hotel in Prague at least two months ahead of their visit to ensure availability and secure better rates, especially during the peak summer season when the city hosts numerous cultural festivals and outdoor concerts.

Naše doteraz najlepšie ubytovanie v Prahe. Dostatok priestoru pre rodinu so štyrmi deťmi so všetkým, čo treba za skvelú

Výborná lokalita s jedinečnou atmosférou, priestranný byt so všetkým, čo treba pre pobyt s deťmi, tichý a príjemný dvor domu so zeleňou a posedením, obchod s potravinami za rohom. Klavír pre hudobníkov ako bonus.
