Hotel Description
Look, I’ve stayed at plenty of fancy hotels in Prague, but the Aria actually surprised me – and honestly, that doesn’t happen often anymore. It’s tucked away on Tržiště street in Lesser Town, which means you’re literally a three-minute walk from the Charles Bridge without dealing with all the tourist chaos on Nerudova. The building itself is this gorgeous baroque mansion that they’ve somehow managed to modernize without killing its soul, you know?
What really got me was how they’ve committed to this whole music theme without making it cheesy. I mean, each floor represents a different musical era or genre, and my room was in the jazz section – the hallways had these subtle Miles Davis references, and there was actually a small library of music books in the room. The staff clearly knows their stuff too; our concierge recommended this underground jazz club in Vinohrady that I never would have found otherwise. The rooms themselves are spacious by Prague standards (trust me, that matters), and the bathrooms have heated floors, which you’ll appreciate if you’re visiting between October and April.
Here’s what I really love about the location – you’re close enough to walk everywhere that matters, but far enough from Wenceslas Square that you can actually sleep at night. The hotel restaurant, Coda, is legitimately good, not just hotel-restaurant good, and they serve breakfast until 11 AM on weekends, which saved my life after that jazz club recommendation. Parking is handled through valet service, which costs extra but honestly, trying to navigate and park in Lesser Town yourself is a nightmare you don’t want. The staff speaks excellent English, and – this is a small thing, but it matters – they actually know Prague well enough to give you real recommendations, not just the obvious tourist spots. When I mentioned I was interested in Art Nouveau architecture, the front desk manager drew me a little walking route that included buildings I’d never heard of. The hotel’s rooftop terrace has this incredible view of Prague Castle, especially at sunset, though it can get crowded during peak season. One tiny complaint: the WiFi sometimes gets spotty on the higher floors, but that’s pretty minor. Overall, if you’re looking for somewhere that feels special without being stuffy, and you want to be in the heart of historic Prague without sacrificing comfort, the Aria nails it. Just book well in advance – word’s getting out about this place.

An exceptional experience awaits guests at the Aria. It is labeled as a luxury boutique hotel and lives up to its name but with the warmth and charm of a homestay. We dined at their awarded CODA restaurant – an amazing tasting menu that exceeded our expectations. Access to the UNESCO World Heritage gardens is an added bonus. The location is the hotel is perfect in every way…easy access to tourist sites, transport facilities, cafes and museums.
