Hotel Description

You know what caught me off guard about these apartments? The address says Smíchov, but you’re actually way closer to Lesser Town than most places that claim to be “near” it. I mean, you can literally walk across Kampa Island and be at the castle in about fifteen minutes – something the booking sites don’t really capture when they just list the postal district.

The building itself sits on this quiet residential street that feels completely removed from tourist chaos, but here’s the thing – you’re not sacrificing anything for that peace. The apartments are genuinely well-appointed (I’m talking real kitchens, not those sad little hotel kitchenettes), and honestly, after staying in cramped Prague hotels before, having actual space to spread out felt like luxury. The 9.2 rating makes sense once you’re there – it’s one of those places where small details are clearly thought through, like having enough outlets near the bed and blackout curtains that actually block light. The owners seem to get that business travelers and families need different things than backpackers.

What I really appreciated was the neighborhood feel of it all. Švandy ze Semčic street has this lived-in quality where you’ll see locals heading to work in the morning, not just tourists wandering around with maps. There’s a decent grocery store within a couple blocks – Billa, I think – which becomes crucial when you realize how much money you save making coffee in your apartment instead of paying tourist prices. And speaking of coffee, there’s this little place called Café Lounge that locals actually go to, just down toward the river. The walk to Old Town is totally doable, but here’s a insider tip: take the tram from Anděl (maybe ten minutes away) when your feet are tired, because it connects you to the whole city without dealing with the metro crowds. Parking was surprisingly manageable too – street parking that doesn’t require a PhD in Czech signage to figure out. The only thing I’d mention is that weekend evenings can get a bit lively since you’re close to some local bars, but nothing crazy, and weeknights are properly quiet.

  This was absolutely my best experience with accommodation. The host is very nice, helped us with parking, gave advises of the City and even brought us 2 champagner while we celebrated birthday.
  Breakfast is huge portion, everyday!! The host even brought us desserts after dinner!!! Absolutly delicious! The Apartments are very clean, big and cosy. You can find everything needed for cooking. Great Location!

  One of the best experience we've ever had with accommodation and hosts. I feel like nothing I write here will compliment enough how wonderful our hosts are, and how they made our stay in Prague perfect. Breakfast was rich and plentiful, parking was super easy to find right in front of the building, internet is stable and fast, location is very close to city center and many attractions, so you can park your car and forget about it 🙂 If you are going somewhere further, tram station is super close, trams are regular and can take you anywhere. Apartment is clean, quiet, warm (we visited Prague in November) spacious and has everything you need. Check-in and check-out was super easy, and we were welcomed with complimentary goods in the fridge 🙂 And now about the hosts – Eva and her husband are some of the most lovely people I've ever met. It was immense pleasure meeting them and talking to them. We were curious about the city history and day-to-day life in Prague, and they took their time to share with us many precious stories and information. All in all, amazing people and amazing experience!

  Absolutely great location for exploring outdoors, very close to Petrin. Not far from most popular squares. Small shop is just 1 minute walk from home. Apartment was clean, breakfast was huge and hosts are greatly polite, very friendly and accomodating.
