Hotel Description

So I stumbled across this apartment on Nebovidská Street last spring, and honestly? It’s one of those finds that makes you feel like you’ve cracked some local code. The building itself sits right in the historic center – I’m talking proper cobblestone-narrow-street territory here – but tucked away enough that you’re not dealing with the constant stream of tour groups that plague some of the more obvious locations.

The first thing that hits you when you walk in is how they’ve managed to keep all the period details intact while actually making the place livable. You know how some historic properties feel like museums where you’re afraid to touch anything? This isn’t that. The ceilings have these beautiful old beams, the floors creak in that satisfying old-building way (but not annoyingly), and whoever renovated this place actually understood that modern travelers need things like proper air conditioning and decent Wi-Fi. The terrace – and this is where it gets really good – overlooks this quiet courtyard that somehow blocks out most of the street noise. I mean, you’re literally a five-minute walk from Old Town Square, but you’d never know it from how peaceful it gets in the evenings.

What really sealed it for me was the attention to practical details that most places completely miss. The kitchen actually has everything you need if you want to grab groceries from the Tesco down on Národní Street (locals shop there too, not just tourists). The shower has proper water pressure – trust me, this matters more than you think in old Prague buildings. And the air conditioning isn’t some ancient unit that sounds like a helicopter; it’s quiet enough that you can actually sleep with it running during those surprisingly hot summer nights. The location means you can walk to Kampa Island in about eight minutes, or hit up that little wine bar on Nerudova Street without needing trams or taxis. Honestly, the only minor thing is that the building entrance is a bit tricky to find the first time – it’s not super obvious from the street – but the hosts send pretty clear directions, and once you know where it is, you feel like you’re in on some secret. For what you get in terms of space, location, and that whole “living like a local” vibe, it’s actually pretty remarkable value, especially considering some of the cramped hotel rooms I’ve seen in this part of the city that cost significantly more.

Reviews

  • We loved Prague and staying at staying at Apartment Nebovidy was the icing on the cake! – Lynette from Australia – 24 June 2025 (10/10)

This property was an absolute gem! Sylvie our host was ever so helpful, kept in touch and was quick with her responses. Sylvie met us at the property to give us the keys and handover was easy. She provided some great places to eat and in the fridge when we arrived she had juice, a couple of beers and a bottle of wine!
The property was spacious, spotlessly clean, quiet and secure. We loved the balcony and enjoyed an afternoon wine and cheese platter sitting out there.
The location was fantastic and we were able to walk to restaurants and the local tourist attractions.

What could be improved: There was nothing not to like. This property is one of the best we have stayed in and I would definitely recommend it to others. We had four wonderful days and nights there.

  • Perfect wedding stay ❤️ – Cristiaan from Netherlands – 30 April 2025 (10/10)

We spent two weeks here because we were getting married in Prague. You can imagine that for a trip like this we have very high hopes and standards but this apartment was even better then we wished. Everything, from the location, to the quietness, to the facilities, to the personal and perfect contact. Everything was very perfect. To the point where even we got some very nice and heartwarming surprises. Really this is the best spot in Prague, if you are doubting still, stop that doubt you won't find better. Book this!

    What could be improved: Nothing

  • Peacfull gem in the heart of Prague. – Ben from Israel – 30 March 2025 (10/10)

Location is perfect. 5 min walk from Charles bridge. Peacfull and quite neighborhood. Shower is great, bed is super comfy, the apartment is clean and renovated, kitchen is very nice and it's got all you need if you into cooking yourself. We enjoyed it very much.
Perfect for couples or friends who want to stay a bit further away from all the noise and loudness of the old city.
Silvie the host was great, responsive and welcoming.
We sure be back next time we're in Prague.

  • Great space! Great location! – Jeffrey from United States – 10 March 2025 (10/10)

The property was extremely clean and well appointed. It had everything we needed to make our stay very comfortable. Loved the layout. Most important the location allowed us to easily navigate the beautiful city and have a quiet place to relax at the end of the day.
Sylvie, our host, was very responsive, helpful and accommodating.

What could be improved: We liked everything!

  • Perfect apartment, great Host! – Ewa from Poland – 24 February 2025 (10/10)

To make the long story short: EXCELLENT apartment! Perfect location, walking distance to Charles Bridge, trams nearby. Central but so quiet at the same time! A lot of nice places to eat in the area, small supermarkets. Interesting and comfortable parking facility. As for the apartment itself: lovely design, cozy, very comfortable, spotlessly clean. Last but NOT least – very friendly Host, definitely top of our total Booking.com experience (small tip: try the "go out" options suggested and recommended by Sylvie and you will not regret :). We are looking forward to come back to Prague and Nebovidy Apartment will be definitely our no 1 choice!

  • Comfortable open plan apartment – World_explorer from Australia – 21 January 2025 (10/10)

This is one great property we had on our trip. The car park (garage) is a short walk but our host took us there. It was an automated garage with a lift for the car (a unique experience for me) and very comfortable. The apartment is open plan but very spacious and very comfortable. The host took the time to help us plan the trip, provide some recommendations to eat and celebrate our New Year's Eve and even provide us with some beers and bubbles. The apartment is on the first floor and doesn't have a lift but the stairs are comfortable. We had a few bags and still, it was comfortable to bring them all up. Everything is walkable from this place. Absolutely recommend it.

  • Exceptional – Ian from Australia – 19 December 2024 (10/10)

Property is in a quieter part of Prague. Unit has everything you need with the exception of a washing machine.

What could be improved: As we are driving the parking is some distance from the accommodation but it is better than some scenarios in Europe.

  • Exceptional – Joanne from Australia – 17 December 2024 (10/10)

Sylvie was wonderful and so pleasant and helpful.

  • It was a great place, host was fantastic. – Nadezhda from United States – 30 November 2024 (10/10)

Size, space, kitchen, location. Host was great answering our questions and answering about the train and tram, exchanging money. Great host, Sylvie!

  • Great apartment – Drobac from Serbia – 15 November 2024 (10/10)

We had an amazing stay at this apartment in Prague! We stayed for four nights and couldn’t have been happier with the experience. The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was extremely welcoming, and we were pleasantly surprised by the complimentary wine and beer that awaited us. They also provided printed recommendations for local restaurants, museums, bakeries, and more, which made exploring the area so easy.

The location is fantastic—quiet yet close to everything! We were able to walk to Charles Bridge, Old Town, and Prague Castle within minutes, which made sightseeing a breeze. Free parking was also a huge bonus in a city like Prague, where finding parking can be challenging. It was such a convenient addition that made our stay even more enjoyable. Despite the chilly weather outside, the apartment was warm and cozy thanks to excellent heating.

We highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Prague and would definitely stay here again!
