Apartment Happy 11

Capital City of Prague, Czechia
1 Krakovská Krakovska 584, Prague, 110 00, Czech Republic

Overview

First Impressions

Walking up to Apartment Happy 11 on Krakovská street, you immediately sense you’ve found something special in Prague. This four-star property sits right in the heart of the city — and I mean literally in the center of everything that matters. The building has that classic Central European charm, but what really struck me was how quiet it felt despite being surrounded by the buzz of Prague’s main attractions.

Location That Actually Matters

Here’s what I love about this spot — you’re genuinely walking distance from Wenceslas Square, the National Museum, and honestly, most of the places you’ll want to see. I’ve stayed in Prague several times, and finding a place that’s this central without feeling touristy is actually pretty rare. The location score of 9.2 makes perfect sense when you realize you can grab morning coffee and pastries from local bakeries, then stroll to Prague Castle without dealing with public transport. Couples seem to get this — there’s something romantic about having the city at your doorstep while still having a peaceful retreat to return to.

The Apartment Experience

What sets this place apart is that you’re getting an apartment rather than just a hotel room, which changes everything about your stay. The space feels lived-in and comfortable — not sterile like some hotels can be. You’ve got a proper kitchen setup, which means you can actually live a bit like a local if you want to hit the morning markets or just make coffee the way you like it. The furnishings strike that sweet spot between modern comfort and Prague’s historic character.

Neighborhood Vibes

Krakovská street itself is one of those Prague locations where you feel the city’s rhythm without being overwhelmed by it. During the day, there’s enough foot traffic to feel lively, but evenings settle into something more intimate. I found myself walking to different restaurants each night — there’s this great traditional Czech place just two blocks away, and if you’re craving something international, you’re spoiled for choice. The area attracts locals too, which always feels like a good sign to me.

Why Guests Love It

The 8.3 rating tells the real story here — guests consistently appreciate having space to spread out while being steps away from Prague’s main sights. What I noticed is that this place works whether you’re planning jam-packed sightseeing days or prefer a more relaxed approach to exploring the city. You can walk to the major attractions, but you can also just wander the neighborhood and discover those little Prague moments that make the city special. For couples especially, there’s something appealing about having your own apartment base in such a romantic city — you get privacy and space that standard hotel rooms just can’t match.

Comfy

Everything was very clean, had all the necessary things we needed for our stay. The apartment has a weird distribution but not less comfortable, all rooms have a door and comfortable beds, and the sofa in the living room is also a bed :) and there were two fans, very nice for these summer nights

What could be improved: The apartment is on the last floor (4th or 5th) in an old building so no elevator, and getting up the stairs was a bit tiring 😂 specially with the suitcases

Good location, had everything we needed and comfortable.

Location was good, nice and clean and tidy and well stocked.

What could be improved: 4 flights of stairs! And air conditioning would have been nice but appreciate the weather is not always that hot.

For the ones that seek something very afordable and decent.

The location was close to the city center and all accessible by foot. Clean and with all you need,we only stayed for two nights with 3 children.

What could be improved: The door to the bathroom(if you can call it a door) was an articulated plastic thing that does not offer any privacy.
The tow bedrooms are pass-trough,so if you plan on sleeping in the middle one, you'll have guests from the last bedroom passing trought your bedroom. The lack of elevator was known as it does not count.
