Apartment De Luna Overview
First Impressions
When I first pulled up to Apartment De Luna, I’ll be honest — it doesn’t scream “hotel” in the traditional sense. This four-star property sits quietly on Libušská street in Prague, and honestly, that’s part of its charm. The building has this understated elegance that feels more like you’re staying at a well-appointed friend’s place than checking into another cookie-cutter hotel. What immediately caught my attention was how easy it was to find parking right on site — and it’s free, which in Prague is basically like finding gold.
The Apartment Experience
Here’s what makes this place different: you’re not getting a standard hotel room, you’re getting an actual apartment. I mean, there’s a proper kitchen with everything you need if you want to grab some fresh bread and cheese from the local market. The space feels lived-in but polished — think modern furnishings without that sterile hotel vibe. The layout actually makes sense too, with separate areas for sleeping and lounging, so you’re not constantly staring at your unmade bed while trying to relax.
Location Perks
You know what surprised me about this spot? It’s in a residential area that feels authentically Prague, but you’re not stuck in the middle of nowhere. The tram connections are solid — I could get to Old Town in about 20 minutes without any hassle. What I really appreciated was walking around the neighborhood in the evenings. There are local pubs and small shops where you’ll hear more Czech than English, which honestly feels refreshing after dealing with the tourist crowds downtown. Couples seem to really get this location (they rate it 8.1), and I can see why — it’s got that local feel without sacrificing accessibility.
Practical Comforts
The apartment comes with those little touches that make a difference when you’re staying somewhere for more than a night or two. The Wi-Fi actually works well throughout the space, and there’s enough counter space in the kitchen to spread out if you’re planning day trips or just need to get some work done. The bathroom is modern and spacious — not one of those tiny European hotel bathrooms where you’re bumping into everything. I also noticed they keep the place really clean, which matters when you’re essentially living in the space rather than just sleeping there.
Why Guests Love It
Look, if you want a traditional hotel experience with room service and a concierge, this isn’t your place. But if you’re looking for somewhere that feels like home base in Prague — somewhere you can actually settle in and live a bit like a local — Apartment De Luna hits that sweet spot. The combination of the residential location, the apartment-style setup, and that free parking (seriously, this is huge in Prague) makes it work really well for people who want to explore the city at their own pace. It’s got an 8.2 rating for good reason — it delivers on what it promises without any pretense.

Reviews of Apartment De Luna
Great place to stay! – Paulius from Lithuania – 16 July 2024 (9/10)
Clean, good location.
What could be improved: Thin walls can hear everything everywhere.
Stayed for 9 days and there were no additional cleaning.
Same sheets, trash can got full, a little bit annoying. Maybe we could have asked but it was not offered directly.Good for price, would recommend! – Minka from Netherlands – 30 December 2023 (7/10)

Comfortable bed. Clean room. Near Sapa. Close to bus stop. Big parking area.
What could be improved: The first floor is quite noisy because of all the guests who come in and out. We can hear people talking and the noise of doors closing. I dont know if it is better in the second floor.Superb – Yin from Taiwan – 3 June 2023 (9/10)

The apartment is really cute, clean, and comfortable. The receptionist is friendly to us. I like the vibe.
What could be improved: Location is a bit far. An hour with public transportation to the center.Very good – Kaylee from Netherlands – 31 January 2023 (8/10)
The apartment had everything we needed. A very comfy bed, a TV with YouTube on it, a small but good kitchen and a nice bathroom. The location was perfect as the busstop was directly across the street and there was a supermarket 5 min away
What could be improved: Sadly the staff didn't speak English, but we came far with Google translate. The shower ran out of hot water a bit too quick for my liking.Superb – Binayak from Germany – 1 January 2023 (9/10)
The room was very cozy and nice, with all the necessary amenities and facilities. It was clean and comfortable. Highly recommended.
What could be improved: The shower was broken.Everything was good. – Oleksandr from Poland – 9 September 2022 (9/10)
Everywhere was clean, with comfortable beds, a big free parking place, a big table in the room, price, and a new fresh room.
