Hotel Description
Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw the name “Apartment COLOURS – your 7 colour experience,” I rolled my eyes a bit. Sounded like some gimmicky marketing thing, you know? But after spending a few nights there on Žitná street, I actually get it now. Each room really does have its own distinct color theme, and it’s not cheesy like you’d expect. More like… thoughtfully designed? The yellow room I stayed in had this warm, sunny vibe that actually made those gray Prague mornings feel less brutal.
The location is what really sold me though. Žitná street is right in that sweet spot where you’re close enough to walk to Old Town Square (maybe 15 minutes if you don’t get distracted by all the cute side streets), but you’re not drowning in tourist crowds every time you step outside. There’s this little Vietnamese place called Sapa right around the corner that locals actually eat at – their pho is legit amazing after a long day of wandering around the castle. And honestly, being near the main train station means you can easily day-trip to other Czech towns if Prague starts feeling too touristy.
What I didn’t expect was how quiet it actually gets at night. I mean, you’re in the city center, so there’s some street noise during the day, but once evening hits, it’s surprisingly peaceful. The apartment itself feels more like staying at a friend’s place than a hotel – there’s a proper kitchen where I made coffee every morning (way better than hotel instant stuff), and the whole setup just feels… lived-in, in a good way. The 8.3 rating makes sense when you factor in that it’s essentially a well-designed apartment rather than a fancy hotel with all the bells and whistles. You won’t get room service or a concierge, but you will get character and a genuine Prague neighborhood experience. Plus, grocery shopping at the Tesco down the street and cooking dinner while planning the next day’s adventures? That’s honestly my favorite way to travel these days.

What could be improved: Narrow roomGreat location and set up. – Heather from United Kingdom – 6 July 2025 (8/10)
Great theme. Comfortable bed. Purple was small but enough space for 2 people and we were able to leave our medium suitcases open on the floor and move around.
Full kitchen with equipment and lots of space. Free coffee machine and option to purchase branded drinks. Responsive host and easy check in. Central location no public transport required.
What could be improved: Wall are thin… if you have respectful neighbours then sleep is concern. However you can hear everything the other room is doing and saying.Superb – Alexandra from Slovakia – 9 June 2025 (9/10)
Check-in was easy, the host was friendly and responsive, the location is great, the bed was comfy, and the room was clean. it great to have also bo, to store your luggage on the last day 🙂
lovely place to visit Prague! – Tatiana from Italy – 11 April 2025 (9/10)
The apartment is in a great place, close to the university, walking-distance to the city center, safe neighborhood with supermarkets and nice pubs. The red room is large and comfortable, you have everything for a short stay, including Nescafe, tea, boiler and cups. The shared kitchen is well equipped. I loved the jacuzzi and the fact that the bathroom has underfloor heating. I would definitively come back here for my next trip to Prague!!
What could be improved: Pay attention to the shower door as it’s not properly secured and might come off.
Minor suggestion: it would be helpful to have a magnifying mirror for makeup and improve the hairdryer with a more powerful/modern one.Very good – Mert from Turkey – 4 April 2025 (8/10)

Great facilities in that you could use the shared kitchen to make all your own meals. All the kitchen ware that you need and cutlery was provided. Use of the washing machine was very handy.
What could be improved: Very thin walls so bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper and you happen to get noisy neighbours.Best value stay in the center of the city for a group of friends – Erik789 from Netherlands – 16 December 2024 (9/10)
Great location, walking distance from the center. Nice room, beautiful design, surprisingly comfy beds. Fridge, coffee + tea in the room, stacked common area with kitchen. Awesome value for money.
