Apartment COLOURS – your 7 colour experience in centre of Prague

Capital City of Prague, Czechia
Žitná 657/13 1. patro, Prague, 110 00, Czech Republic

Overview

First Impressions

Walking up to Apartment COLOURS – your 7 colour experience in centre of Prague on Žitná street, you’ll notice it’s tucked into a classic Prague building that feels authentically local rather than touristy. The first floor location means you’re not dealing with a cramped ground-level space, and honestly, the whole concept is pretty clever — each apartment is designed around a different color theme, which sounds gimmicky until you actually experience it. I mean, who doesn’t want to stay somewhere that puts actual thought into the design beyond beige walls and generic art?

Location That Actually Matters

This four-star property sits right in the heart of Prague, and when I say heart, I’m not exaggerating — you can walk to Old Town Square in about ten minutes, maybe fifteen if you’re stopping to admire the architecture along the way. What’s really nice is that you’re on a residential street, so you get that authentic Prague neighborhood feel without being stuck way out in the suburbs. The location score of 9.3 makes perfect sense when you realize you can hit Wenceslas Square, the National Museum, and some of the city’s best traditional pubs all within a few blocks.

The Space Itself

Each unit comes with its own kitchen, which is actually useful if you want to grab fresh bread and local cheese from the nearby markets — there’s something satisfying about making coffee in your own space rather than hunting for an overpriced café every morning. The color-themed design isn’t just a marketing gimmick; whichever room you end up in, the thoughtful color coordination creates this surprisingly cohesive atmosphere that feels both playful and sophisticated. You know what’s refreshing? The space feels like someone’s stylish Prague apartment rather than a sterile hotel room.

Why Couples Keep Coming Back

There’s a reason couples rate this place 9.2 for romantic getaways — the combination of intimate apartment-style living with that prime Prague location creates the perfect setup for exploring the city together, then retreating to your own private space. The building itself has character (this is Prague, after all), and being on the first floor means you get nice windows without feeling like you’re living in a fishbowl. Plus, having your own kitchen means you can pick up a bottle of Czech wine and some local treats to enjoy without having to sit in a hotel lobby or crowded restaurant.

Why Guests Love It

What really sets this place apart is how it balances that authentic Prague living experience with modern comfort and style. You’re not just staying in Prague; you’re actually living there for a few days, complete with your own colorful space that feels nothing like a cookie-cutter hotel. The location puts you right where you want to be without the tourist trap pricing of some of the more obvious choices, and honestly, the whole color concept grows on you — it’s one of those details that makes the stay memorable long after you’ve headed home.

Great location and set up.

Great theme. Comfortable bed. Purple was small but enough space for 2 people and we were able to leave our medium suitcases open on the floor and move around.
Full kitchen with equipment and lots of space. Free coffee machine and option to purchase branded drinks. Responsive host and easy check in. Central location no public transport required.

What could be improved: Wall are thin… if you have respectful neighbours then sleep is concern. However you can hear everything the other room is doing and saying.
