The apartments have this clean, modern vibe but they didn’t strip away all the character – you’ll still get those gorgeous high ceilings and original details that make you feel like you’re actually in Prague, not some generic European hotel. I mean, my bathroom was bigger than some entire hotel rooms I’ve stayed in, and the kitchen was actually functional (rare for apartment hotels, trust me). The whole place just feels thoughtfully put together, like someone who actually travels designed it.

What really sold me was stepping out the front door and being thirty seconds from the Astronomical Clock – which, fair warning, gets absolutely mobbed during the day, but at sunrise? Magic. You’re also right around the corner from some of the best traditional Czech restaurants that aren’t total tourist traps. The staff actually gave me solid recommendations too, not just the usual “there’s a nice restaurant nearby” nonsense. Parking is basically impossible in this area (welcome to European city centers), but honestly, you won’t need a car anyway. Everything worth seeing is walkable, and the tram connections are solid if you want to venture out to Wenceslas Square or across the river to Lesser Town.

One small thing – and this might actually be a plus depending on your perspective – you’re definitely in the thick of things here, so don’t expect monastery-level quiet. There’s street life, especially on weekends when the beer gardens get lively. But that’s part of the charm, really. You’re not watching Prague from behind hotel glass; you’re actually living in it for a few days. The 9.3 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there – it’s one of those places that just gets the details right without making a big show of it.
