I mean, you’re not going to stumble out your door onto Charles Bridge, but that’s sort of the point. The whole area has this authentic neighborhood vibe that I didn’t expect from a 3-star place.

The apartments themselves really surprised me – and I say this as someone who’s stayed in way too many European hotels that promise more than they deliver. These folks clearly put thought into the details that actually matter when you’re living somewhere for a few days. The kitchenettes are properly equipped (not just a mini-fridge and hope), and honestly, being able to grab groceries at the nearby Tesco and make your own coffee in the morning instead of hunting for overpriced tourist cafes… well, it changes your whole Prague experience. The Wi-Fi actually works throughout the building – I tested it because, let’s face it, that’s always a gamble. What really got me though was how quiet it stays at night. Nádražní can get busy during the day with people heading to and from Anděl metro station, but evenings are surprisingly peaceful.

Here’s the thing about this location that took me a day to fully appreciate – you’re literally a two-minute walk from Anděl metro station, which connects you to the entire city faster than most “centrally located” hotels can manage. Want to get to Old Town? Twelve minutes on the yellow line. Wenceslas Square? Even quicker. But when you come back in the evening, you can actually find a decent restaurant that doesn’t cost a fortune because you’re in a real neighborhood. There’s this little Vietnamese place around the corner (Prague has amazing Vietnamese food, by the way) and a traditional Czech pub that locals actually frequent. The staff at the apartments seem to know the area well too – they pointed me toward a bakery that I never would have found otherwise. Look, it’s not luxury accommodation, but that 9.1 rating makes total sense once you spend a few days there. Sometimes the best travel experiences come from places that just… work really well without trying to impress you with marble lobbies or whatever.
