Capital City of Prague, Czechia

Overview

First Impressions

Walking into Amedia Express Prague, Trademark Collection by Wyndham, you immediately get the sense this is a place that knows what travelers actually need. It’s not trying to be fancy — this is a solid three-star property that focuses on getting the basics absolutely right. The lobby feels fresh and modern without being sterile, and honestly, after a long day of exploring Prague, that’s exactly what you want to come back to.

Location That Actually Works

Here’s what I love about the location on Türkova street — you’re close enough to everything that matters, but far enough from the tourist chaos to actually get some sleep. The area feels authentically Prague, you know? You’ve got local cafes and shops nearby, plus the public transport connections are solid. I mean, couples consistently rate this spot 8.1 out of 10, and that’s not by accident. They’ve figured out that being slightly off the beaten path actually makes for a better experience.

The Room Experience

The room itself is what I’d call intelligently designed — everything has its place, and nothing feels cramped despite being efficiently sized. The beds are genuinely comfortable (not just hotel-speak comfortable), and the bathrooms are modern with good water pressure. What really impressed me was the attention to details like proper lighting for reading and enough outlets where you actually need them. It’s clear someone thought about how people really use hotel rooms.

Breakfast and Practical Perks

The buffet breakfast is honestly better than it needs to be for a three-star place. They’ve got a good mix of local and international options, and the coffee — well, let’s just say I’ve had worse at much pricier hotels. What really sets this place apart though is the private parking situation. If you’re driving in Prague (which, honestly, I wouldn’t recommend for the city center, but sometimes you need a car), having guaranteed parking at your hotel is huge. Most places in this price range make you hunt for street spots or pay extra for some distant garage.

Why Guests Keep Coming Back

There’s something to be said for a hotel that has more repeat guests than most others — it means they’re doing something right beyond just the marketing photos. I think it comes down to reliability and value. You know exactly what you’re getting here, and what you’re getting is actually good. The staff seems to remember returning guests, which creates this nice sense of familiarity. For Prague, where you can easily overpay for tourist-trap accommodations or end up in some sketchy budget place, this feels like the sweet spot where quality meets reasonable pricing. The hotel delivers consistent comfort and service that justify the investment.

Top class hotel

The room was very comfortable and cozy. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was very good. Overall, a very good service and a nice experience staying at this hotel.

What could be improved: As the hotel services are top class but it is very far from the city centre. The bus stops are quite far away from.the hotel due to which a person has to do quite some walk.

Not too bad.

Although is at the outskirts of the city, was close to where we had to be.
The breakfast.
The cleanliness.
Parking in front and around the hotel free of charge.

What could be improved: The windows were sealed, so no fresh air in the room.
The elevator was very often out of order (we were staying on the 9th floor and sometimes used the staircase).
