The rooms are proper spacious – and I’m talking about European hotel standards here, where sometimes “deluxe” means you can open your suitcase without hitting the bed. The service has that Czech efficiency thing going on, where staff actually know the neighborhood instead of just pointing you toward the tourist traps. When I asked about getting to Vinohrady for dinner, the concierge didn’t just hand me a map – he told me which tram to catch and mentioned that Thursday evenings get crazy busy on that route. That’s the kind of local insight you want.

The 8.1 rating makes total sense when you experience the place firsthand. It’s not trying to be the flashiest hotel in Prague, but everything works the way it should. The internet doesn’t cut out during video calls, the shower pressure is actually decent (trust me, this matters more than fancy marble), and the soundproofing is solid enough that you’re not hearing every conversation from Wenceslas Square below. Though honestly, being right on the square means you’re going to get some street noise – it’s Prague’s main drag, not a monastery. But that energy is part of why you’d stay here in the first place. You can walk to Old Town Square in about ten minutes, hit up the good shopping areas without needing transportation, and there are actual locals mixed in with all the tourists because, well, this is where real Prague business happens. I’d definitely recommend it if you want to feel plugged into the city rather than just visiting it.

Travelers should reserve a hotel in Prague at least two months ahead of their visit to ensure availability and secure better rates, especially during the peak summer season when the city hosts numerous cultural festivals and outdoor concerts.

  The apartment was really nice and clean. Our view from our room was incredible, you were even able to see the castle from the balcony. We really enjoyed our stay because the employees were very nice to us and overall the check-in went so smoothly.
  
  What could be improved: Unfortunately, there wasn't so much vegan choice at breakfast.

  – I eventually booked a room for two with breakfast, but the other person couldn't come. The management won't agree to refund me for the second unused breakfast.

  The location was very central by the Christmas market. The room was nice and spacious, warm and facing the back (what we wanted). We enjoyed a variety of breakfast choices. Everything was lovely including the decor.
