Amazing Charles Bridge Apartment Overview
You know what? I’ve stayed in a lot of Prague apartments over the years, and this one on Dražického náměstí actually surprised me. I mean, when you first walk up to number 10, it doesn’t look like much from the street – just another weathered building in Malá Strana. But once you’re inside, it’s got this perfect balance of being nicely renovated without losing that old Prague character that makes you feel like you’re actually living in the city, not just passing through.
The location is honestly ridiculous – and I say that in the best way possible. You’re literally a two-minute walk from Charles Bridge, but here’s the thing most people don’t realize: you’re on the Malá Strana side, which means you get to approach the bridge from the less touristy direction. Plus, being on that little square puts you right in the heart of the neighborhood where actual Praguers grab their morning coffee and groceries. I’d walk out in the morning and there’d be locals heading to work, not just crowds of tourists with selfie sticks. The tram stop at Malostranské náměstí is maybe three minutes away (I timed it because, well, Prague public transport timing matters), so getting anywhere in the city is pretty effortless.
What really sold me on this place, though, were the little details that you don’t get in most short-term rentals. The windows are properly double-glazed, which might not sound exciting until you realize how much street noise that blocks out – especially important since you’re in such a central spot. The kitchen actually has decent cookware, not just the bare minimum, and there’s a proper Czech coffee maker if you want to skip the café scene some mornings. The 9.2 rating makes sense when you experience stuff like this; it’s clear someone who understands travelers put thought into the setup. The shower has solid water pressure (always a gamble in these old buildings), and the heating works properly – crucial if you’re visiting in winter when Prague gets properly cold. Honestly, the only minor thing I’d change is maybe adding some thicker curtains in the bedroom, but that’s being picky. The whole place just feels like someone’s well-maintained home rather than a sterile rental property, which makes all the difference when you’re trying to settle in for more than just a night or two.

Loved the view, the space, the number of beds, top notch A/C and especially loved Honza the host who generously carried suitcases and prepared a mini celebration for our birthdays❤️. Great rental for a large group.
What could be improved: Coffee maker needed instructions and preferred showers with doors instead of curtain, however loved the extra toilet for a large group.Ng0ch from Georgia – 19 December 2024 (10/10)

What could be improved: Too many steps and no liftAnthony from United States – 26 August 2024 (10/10)
Great location! Plenty of room for our family. Air conditioning worked great. The host was super helpful in providing recommendations on dining, etc.

Apartment is beautiful, spacious and very well equipped. It's also in the perfect location right next to Charles Bridge. The view from the roof terrace is amazing.
Kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could need
What could be improved: Turret bedroom needs better curtains on windows and doorway as it's very light in there so a bit difficult to sleep. Certainly wouldn't put me off staying there again though.Iliana from Bulgaria – 9 April 2024 (10/10)
The best apartment place in Praha 1. Amazing view and amazing space. Thank you to Honza who was absolutely nice.

Clean well equipped excellent location and host was wonderful and accommodating
What could be improved: Just the steps up to the property but got used to them one done them a few times . Would not have swapped them for another location view from top was fabulousHilary from United Kingdom – 22 December 2023 (8/10)
Very beautiful, amazing location, friendly and helpful owner/host, all rooms huge, lots towels and linens, great views all around, quirky rooms/balcony, really well appointed kitchen, 3 bathrooms.
What could be improved: Lots of stairs (no lift) – this was very clearly stated in the ad/description, just be aware! (Older guests struggled). Some of the hallways/stair cases outside the apartment but in the building were a little shabby. Some rooms in apartment had things lying around eg vacuums, cleaning supplies which detracted a bit from the very grand aesthetic.Michael from United States – 24 July 2023 (10/10)
Location was excellent. 100m or so to the Charles Bridge. Close to lots of restaurants and within walking distance of most sites.
Nice having 3 bathrooms.
Really neat bed in the tower with a great view of the bridge and city. NOTE: This bed just has a curtain for privacy.
Nice balcony.
Best close bakery for breakfast is Artic Bakehouse. It's a little bit of a walk (1km? 1.2 km?) but the pasteries easily beat what's in the stores right next to the tourist spots.
What could be improved: Two of the bathrooms have translucent windows in the doors. You can see through them. We were all close family so it wasn't that big of a deal, but you do lose some privacy.
Two bathrooms are only accessible through bedrooms.
One bedroom is only accessible through either of two other bedrooms.
Lots of stairs. That's the price for the views, I suppose.
