This five-star property sits right in the shadow of Prague Castle, and honestly, the location alone is worth the splurge. Couples absolutely love this area (the hotel gets a 9.8 location score from them), and I can see why. It’s romantic without being overly touristy, if that makes sense.

The room I stayed in was actually a proper suite — spacious in a way that most European hotels just aren’t. The beds here are genuinely comfortable, which might sound basic but trust me, after walking Prague’s cobblestones all day, you’ll appreciate sinking into quality bedding. The decor strikes this perfect balance between historical elegance and modern comfort. I loved the high ceilings and period furnishings, but everything felt fresh and well-maintained, not like staying in a museum.

Breakfast is served both continental and buffet style, which gives you options depending on your mood. The buffet spread was impressive — fresh pastries, local cheeses, and proper coffee that actually tastes good. I’m usually a grab-and-go breakfast person, but the dining room here made me want to linger. There’s also private parking available, which is honestly a godsend in this part of the city where finding a spot can be a nightmare.

Look, this place has a 9.4 rating for good reason. It’s that rare combination of luxury and authenticity that’s hard to find in Prague these days. You’re paying for the location, yes, but you’re also getting genuine comfort and service that feels personal rather than corporate. The staff seems to actually care about making your stay memorable, and when you’re this close to the castle, St. Vitus Cathedral, and all the major sights, you’ll spend less time commuting and more time actually enjoying the city.   Their manager gave us a brief tour at the time of our check-in. We were given a brief introduction about the history of the building and the surrounding area. It was such a nice gesture that made us feel valued and welcome as their guests 🙂 Everything about the hotel is perfect!

  Beautiful rooms and building, exceptional staff who looked after our every need. Breakfast had fabulous tea, and the omelettes were really special. The complimentary wine in our room was very good. The jacuzzi room was very well equipped and relaxing. Location is quiet, and yet a short walk to the castle and other sites. I'd booked this trip for my partners birthday, we might have to come back every year, because I can't see how we will find anywhere more romantic or perfect in every way.
